The unit is no longer under warranty so if it's a hardware issue I'd have to keep on using a PWM splitter until the unit dies completely.
Seems all Corsair items I buy have a lifetime of 1-2 years ...
To clarify, if I swap the fans the #2 logical fan is still the one running at full speed.
So it's not a faulty fan. Something is either wrong with iCUE or the AIO fan control port is somehow broken.
I have seen a number of other users here pointing out similar issues so suspecting it's iCUE.
The first fan is controllable and changes speed if I change settings for it, the second is running at max no matter what.
If I swap the actual fans nothing changes, the same fan ID is running at full speed, so it's not the fans.
Looks like a bug.
I have 4 fans connected to my Commander Pro. All fans are spinning. I have 4 light strips connected as well and they are on and change colors correctly.
However in the iCue setup view they all come and go. They show for a few seconds and then disappear.
I would recommend you make better software.
I have the same issue, again ....
@LightweightSoft
Try this:
https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE-
And now ICue has managed to uninstall itself.
The program is running (hanging) and the files are gone.
And installing it again doesn't work so now I have to manually clean up again.
Jesus what a pile of rubbish this is.
This is sad. I installed the latest version 4 update because it popped up. And then what I have starting up is version 3.38.61.
So I downloaded 4.10.273 and installed it. And it still starts version 3.38.61.
