  1. I've been looking around some posts and videos where people have removed a spring or bolt from their mouse scroll to allow the wheel to scroll freely as opposed to friction. I took my M65 apart and found that this scroll is a little more complicated than most mice I've seen in posts and videos. Whilst the scroll itself has some friction mechanism still, the actual sound seems to be coming from some cog away from the wheel itself. When pulling some silver latch away from the cog slightly, the sound stops when scrolling the wheel but it still seems to have friction. So I guess my question is, has anyone managed to successfully modify their M65 to allow free scrolling? Or if not, would anyone that has good knowhow of this mouse be able to assist me in what parts I need to concentrate on most?
