  1. I also noticed on Github the official Corsair iCue SDK has a request out there for Nexus support. It was posted in 2021 and no response... Come on Corsair -- if you aren't going to develop anything new for it at least let the community have a go at it...
  2. Well make that two people now. I feel the same way. The Nexus had so much potential but it's really just a glorified temperature display or some extra fancy 'G' macro keys. Look back at the Logitech LCD screens that were so well supported over the years -- there's no reason why the Nexus could not do the same. At least release a SDK for it (like Logitech did) and let the community come up with new uses for it. It's a disappointment right now. No more Corsair hardware for me -- there are better alternatives out there.
  3. I've had my Dark Core SE for less than a year and the scroll wheel breaks. I send in an RMA request -- kudos for the quick response time at least. Request is approved -- but to get my replacement you're making me pay shipping to send the defective item in?!?!?!? Please explain why I should pay shipping for something that was beyond my control?!?!? Considering the mouse broke so quickly I don't see why I should continue throwing money at it. While I'm considering whether this is even worth it or not I'd like to know: Will I get a brand new replacement or a refurbished one?
  4. I'm in total agreement with this. I bought the Dark Core specifically because I wanted a mouse made by an American company that has wireless charging. It has been a disappointment. Very limited lighting options are available for the mouse (and the only game it seemed to actually light up for is Far Cry 5). Is that why they call it "Dark" Core? The charging is OK, but nowhere near the quality of the solution Logitech has. Corsair has also made it clear that there is no future in Qi wireless charging with their products. New wireless mice are available but none have Qi. Considering the ergonomics on the Dark Core are a bit strange, they lost a repeat customer (me) because I would consider upgrading for something more comfortable -- if, and only if Qi charging is available. The mouse wheel on my Dark Core recently 'died' (it doesn't 'click' anymore and just turns but does not scroll). I'll take advantage of my warranty but when I get my replacement it will go on ebay, along with my strafe rgb. No more Corsair for me. I've gone back to my Logitech keyboard, mouse, and powerplay pad and won't look back.
  5. The only reason I purchased a Corsair RGB keyboard is for the mechanical keys and RGB. My preference has, and always will be an ergo keyboard. Lack of ergo is the only reason I don't have one. An ergo gaming keyboard is an instant buy for me. I think there's a possibility the market is there -- standard keyboards are just 'preferred' because there are barely any options out there. I've never seen a RGB ergo keyboard...
  6. Yeah this is ridiculous. The capability to control individual zones on the mouse is obviously there -- I should be the one to determine whether or not the down side to such granular control is worth the risk to me -- not Corsair. The removal of some very simple functionality that was appealing to me (including lighting link) is really pushing me back in the direction of Logitech. Either that or I'll drop RGB altogether. Inconsistency and lack of support for RGB functionality shows that it's still treated like a gimmick by the industry. A standard for RGB would be nice!
  7. It looks like there are a couple of new wireless mice available now but none have the option for Qi charging. Has Corsair abandoned this technology? I think it works well and while I like the Dark Core, the shape is not well suited for my hands. I would like to have some other options and I like the look of the new models.
  8. Hi, I'd like to request a 'screen sampling' option for iCue. Basically, it would be an 'Ambilight' type feature that takes the output on screen and sets the RGB lighting to match. Some implementations take the 'average' color and set the RGB to this color, and others take a bitmap type image and set the hardware to match the pattern of the bitmap. Logitech calls this LightSync and there is also a 3rd party solution out there called Aurora that does this quite well.
