  1. So it does seem like the AX1000 series is a bad PSU?
  2. Hello, I'm waiting on my second replacement AX1000 from Corsair but I was hoping someone here may be able to assit. Awhile back I noticed that my PC would crash while gaming. I didn't think too much of it but eventually it became more and more unstable. I took it apart and noticed that one of the GPU modular cables melted to the PSU. I installed a new PCI-E GPU cord to a new fresh slot on the PSU. Everything worked fine but I thought it best to contact Corsair for a replacement. They sent me a refurbished unit which I swapped out and have been using for about a month. Fast forward to a few days ago and I started having crashes. My PC would turn off, but the motherboard and RAM would remain illuminated. To turn the PC back on I would have to flip the rear PSU power button and then I could start my PC again. After a few more crashes now not even that works. I contacted Corsair again and they are going to send me another refurbished unit. However I'm worried this new one will die again. I always thought these were decent supplies but now two have died on me. I see now where the AX1000 was discontinued so maybe these are just bad PSUs? Any ideas? 9900k at 5.0Ghz (Auto Voltage) 2x 16Gb Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM at 3200Mhz XMP EVGA 3090 FTW EVGA Nu Audio Pro Soundcard 13 Corsair LL120 Fans
  3. Same issues as you. Have you tried doing a fresh install of Windows 10? I'm wondering if it might be some sort of software conflict with MSI Afterburner or something.
  4. I am having similar issues as you, but I've already tried replacing the Commander Pro, the Lighting node Pro and one of the LL 120 fans by opening tickets with Corsair. I'm wondering if it's a software issue and installing a fresh copy of Windows 10 might be the fix?
  5. Same issue as you. I think it might be some sort of software issue? Did you have any luck when you re-installed Windows?
  6. Similar issue, some of my fans illuminate others don't. Random flickering of fans and RGB strips. I've opened tickets and had controller and fans replaced. No luck. I think it may be some sort of software issue but I'm not certain.
  7. Same issue. My RGB strips turn all sorts of random flickering colors. Half the fans illuminate, or flicker random colors. I set my system to a static white color and only about half illuminate. I've opened several tickets with Corsair and have replaced various controllers, even replaced fans, no luck. I think it might be a software issue?
  8. Same issue with my fans, the software is a disaster. I would advise opening a ticket. I've had tickets open all year with them, no luck.
  9. Same issue here, except that I try to set mine to all white. I've had two tickets open with Corsair. The first one resulted in a new RGB hub, and then the second ticket I was sent a replacement RMA Corsair Commander Pro. Still no luck. I believe it is a software issue of some sort. If anyone can submit a ticket and use this thread as a guide it might be helpful. Thanks!
  10. Hi Jordan, Same issue here. I believe it is some sort of software issue, I've had two tickets open with Corsair and no luck. I encourage you to open a ticket so they are aware of the problems.
  11. Hi Zotty, Can 120mm and 140mm LL fans be mixed? I've had a lot of issues with the RGB on my setup and am wondering if maybe this is the issue?
  12. Same issue here and my RGB strips flicker as well. I've opened two tickets with Corsair, each one was open for over two months with as many as 17 E-Mails back and forth. That's four months of back and forth. We tried everything from uninstalling software, and using a third party program to uninstall further, to changing the order of the fan connections. Each ticket ended with a replacement part and this still didn't fix the problem. CORSAIR RGB Fan LED Hub (CO-8950020) Commander PRO (CL-9011110-WW) My hunch at this point is that there is some sort of software issue present. I would encourage you to at least open a ticket so that they can see all of the issues people are having. If they start using this iCue software in Origin PCs, it's going to cause some rough customer service issues. Especially considering those customers aren't nearly as tech savvy as the DYI crowd. https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
