  1. No amount of software or firmware update will resolve the hardware issue in this M65 mouse. I made a write up of the hardware repair. I've been using my mouse successfully since June after this repair. There's additional information in the last image of the imgur link. https://imgur.com/a/SYoRHGR
  2. Can you demonstrate this repair? I would be interested to see it.
  3. I successfully resolved the issue by replacing the switches on the PCB. Feel free to ask any questions. Guide below: https://imgur.com/a/SYoRHGR
  4. Greetings all, This has been a rampant issue with mice using a particular Omron switch manufactured in China, the D2FC-F-K(50M). I made a guide on how to replace these switches after they have failed and put it in an Imgur album. https://imgur.com/a/SYoRHGR
  5. When I made the guide, the original soldering was perfect, as you'd expect in most manufacturing. It was my soldering that was not as clean as the original. The switches in the M65 that are stamped D2FC-F-K(50M) are definitely the point of failure. As to other mice, each can be manufactured with any number of other switches. In fact, in the M65 itself the switches on the side of the mouse for M4, M5, and M6 are different switches. They are Kailh switches instead of Chinese Omrons. You can find a healthy amount of information about the particular D2FC-F-K(50M) switch itself as a particularly bad component if you take the time. That is ultimately why I ended up making the guide so that others could replace their switches if they chose to do so.
  6. You may need to update the motherboard BIOS to the latest version. BIOS update utilities from Asus https://www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1030050 BIOS versions: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-RAMPAGE-V-EDITION-10/HelpDesk_BIOS/
  7. Hi Mineria! Check out my post right above yours. It is a write up of the repair process you're considering. Best of luck!
  8. Hello everyone! I found this thread a while back when I was researching my Corsair M65 mis-click issue. I determined that the cause was a failure of the micro switch on the PCB. I made the repair and have resolved the mis-click issue. I made a write up and put it up on Imgur. I hope you find this helpful! https://imgur.com/a/SYoRHGR
