  1. Just been using the PC again today/recently been hovering around 38c-41/42c on the coolant temp - not able to do much about it unless I put the MLs on high strangely. Not crazy but not great either. Yes it does seem to be working I guess I can leave it at extreme for now. I will probably go down the RMA avenue I guess - at the moment I have all my LL fans into a corsair commander pro. Would that affect which h115i would be best for me? I guess if I got the elite I could just plug the MLs into the commander?
  2. Its very strange (can't edit above for some reason) played some more CS2 to test, and came off at around 39C, LLs still 1100RPM, lowered to see what happens ML at 400-600RPM been idling for prob atleast 10 mins at 38C, put pump to extreme coolant currently 39.70C and rising. ML fans 405 RPM, PC Idle, GPU 44C CPU showing as 50C. I think my GPU has a fan shutdown mode too if that means anything.
  3. Thanks for the help I havent seen 50-60 for a while but I felt like I did see it about a year ago the fans were custom profile and I think I kept them at ~700-800rpm I still think the liquid speed might be slow. I booted my PC up and tried the CPU stress test in CPU-Z, here are the figures (pump on extreme). First min/PC cold boot 32-33C liquid temp. Within 2 mins of test 35C. Then 2 mins after 36.4C, so this was 5 mins after roughly. Then it remained at this temp at 10 mins after which I stopped the stress test. I then changed the pump to quiet and booted up CS2 did a deathmatch for 10 mins, so GPU heat too, coolant was 39C. Strangest thing happened next, I closed the game and set the pump to extreme to see if the temp changed, for some reason it went up to about 40-41C then came back down to 37 and 36c. I have now set my LL exhaust and intakes to follow coolant temp so they have been at 1100RPM ish recently, the ML fans were on quiet but still at around 1400RPM so could be drawing the hot air up. I have now changed the ML radiator fans to curve with GPU temp very shallow so they remain at 700-800 for most of the time, maybe this will help the majority of the hot air go out the exhaust? Also could a blockage have resolved itself? Maybe the temps last year were when I hadn't cleaned the radiator out - I dusted it with compressed air as best I could about a month or two back, whilst still in the case though so not perfect.
  4. Hi I posted here a few years back, had my h115i platinum rgb since 2019 and its always cooled my 3800x ok to about 60-70c. However about a year ago I started seeing the liquid temps go into 50-60c and CPU to 80. I think I figured that this was due to bad fan profiles, possibly dust. I had a custom profile that was keeping the fans at like 700-800rpm I think. My PC has a RTX 3080 suprim x so that definitely blows heat towards the top mounted radiator. I'm from the UK and ambient temp should be room temp ish prob 20-22c - I did a test with pump on extreme, full intake fans max, radiator fans max. Lowest liquid temp I saw was 32C possibly could go lower if I left it. Then whilst gaming with max fans up to 38, 39c. GPU fans I haven't touched at all, not sure if I need to, it gets to 70-80c. I just played some CS2 and came off, my ML fans on the rad on quiet mode spun to ~1600RPM, my 3 LL fans and 1 rear LL fan all at about ~ 1100RPM, liquid temp was 42C. CPU probably in 60s didn't take a reading. I just put the fans LLs to balanced ~1600RPM and about 5-10 mins the liquid is now 36C. Is my cooler working correctly? I did mention to corsair support they have allowed me to RMA but I'm not so sure I need to if it seems to be working. Also if anyone can help me set proper fan curves for my intake LLs and rear LL and the ML fans and maybe even my GPU I'd be grateful. The thing is when the liquid is 40+C I the heat radiates from the top of my PC and noticeably warms the room a lot too. I'm thinking I need to have my intakes run faster. Any thoughts appreciated.
  5. The dust looks like this first pic is now / currently running other is a few months ago. is that bad enough to have a major impact?
  6. Just updated my profile with my current PC specs, yes the fans are set to exhaust out the top and definitely internal temps have been way higher since getting my RTX 3080 - its got 3 fans blowing into the case, but GPU temps are in 60s, so good there.
  7. Hi, I have had my AIO cooler for about 2 years it's been doing well so far load temps up to 70s and cools my 3800x even if idle is usually 40-50 I think due to web browsing and fast single cores. However I have noticed recently the liquid temp can be as high as 50C in iCUE when playing games and just checking now about 15 mins after playing about 42-44c. This seems very high and the radiator is mounted on the top of my PC, it's getting pretty hot and heats the room too. I think there might be some dust on the radiator I need to clear out but could that really cause these insanely high liquid temps? I hear it should stay in the 30s, pretty close to ambient. The room temperature should be in the 20s, I'm in the UK. Any ideas? Thanks.
  8. I have the same problem -- have had my H115i pro platinum rgb for about a week, went to update the firmware yesterday, it failed and ever since the AIO is no longer in iCUE, radiator fans at max speed (but cpu temp is okay, pump seems to be working) and I keep getting USB disconnect every 30s-1min. Any idea?
  9. Thanks, I plugged it into port #4 and it seems to work now :), iCue is showing all 4 fans. Although I have noticed that he ML fans on the rad aren't as bright, and Gigabytes Aorus RGB Fusion seems to take over my RAM.
  10. Hi I have built a ryzen 3800x PC with 500d SE RGB and H115i Platinum RGB. The case came with a Commander Pro, RGB Fan Hub and 3 fans all installed, these are all lighting up. The H115i is also lighting up. However I also purchased a separate LL120 fan for the exhaust, it is spinning but not lighting up. This fan is plugged into the commander pro, and into the RGB hub for the LEDs, I notice the RGB Hub has 1,2 and 3 already plugged in, I have plugged it into port 6, does this matter? In iCUE I can see the H115i, the commander pro and my vengenace rgb ram, should I be able to see the RGB Hub? Thanks Andrew
  11. Hi, I am looking to build a new PC with the Zen 2 release tomorrow. I am going to use the 500D case and would like to have an RGB fan setup. I have had an AIO liquid cooler pump fail on me in the past so I have been considering air cooling, but am open to Corsair AIOs as have seen that they come with a 5 year warranty. I planned to buy the 500D case (without glass front) as I thought the 3 fans on the glass front of the RGB SE version may be a bit "in-your-face", then use some of my old non-RGB case fans in the front. So in this scenario I could use 3 LL Fans (1 rear / 2 top) + Air Cooler. My question here is would this require the commander pro module or would the light node be enough? Would it be better to buy a H115i mount on top, with a single LL fan in rear? Would this require a commander pro? Secondly - the RGB SE case comes with a commander pro and 3 LL fans and has dropped in price to £185, which is now only £55 more than the standard edition, this seems quite good value so I am also considering this now. Which setup should I go for? Thanks.
