  1. I have had my setup running fine until today. on idle and low/medium workloads I have no issues with heat. However, when I play games or do any big rendering I see the GPU running upwards 88/90c If I open the side panel and check with my hand over bottom intake it's all hot air. It appears to come from the GPU itself. I have the GPU fans on 50% at the moment. Should I go back to regular mount of GPU or should I reverse the bottom fans to exhaust since the GPU is now vertically mounted? Fans are LL120s on Commander Pro with custom curve for front intake and rear exhaust. The top fans are exhaust on H100i platinum set pump and fans to extreme (fans balanced when not on heavy load). The bottom fans are intake on extreme while heavy load and custom curve all other times. Commander Pro temp sensors: #1 Top center of case by radiator/CPU = 33c #2 Middle of case by memory/24 pin = 30c #3 Bottom of case by intake fans/behind gpu = 31c H100i platinum fluid temps = 29.5c The GPU is Asus Strix 5700 XT. Idle/basic load/ temps are 38/40c (door closed) The motherboard is Asus Strix x570-e Gaming. I live in Virginia, USA. My home is set to 23c/74F My wife likes it warm
  2. Works fine on Asus ROG Strix x570-e Gaming. Issue is I loose control of the Strix 5700 XT. It won't sync and I can't have custom effects. Right now I have 3 custom effects on my LL120s, H100i Platinum, Vengeance RGB and peripherals. It won't allow the match up like Jacknet RGB Sync for my GPU and Motherboard
  3. Thank you for the help. I have 2 intake fans at the bottom as well. I will place them as follows: 1- Top exhaust near the H100i and rear exhaust 2- Middle of case near the ATX cables by the memory (a little below) 3- Bottom of the case between the GPU and bottom fans. Question??? Which sensor do I use. Since there will be 3 which 1 should I pick in the drop down menu?
  4. So use the included temp sensors they give you in the commander pro box? and put 1 at the top of the case somewhere around the AIO since the heat rises in the case that should be a good gauge for temps
  5. OK. I understand. I asked at the end if someone could help with a fan curve. If possible do you have a pretty good fan curve? I'll use the GPU (Asus Strix 5700 XT as a sensor. Any help is appreciated
  6. So I have an entire Corsair System. Crystal 680x, LL120's x8, H100i RGB platinum, ST100, K95 Platinum, Virtuoso, MM800, M65 RGB Elite, Vengeance RGB Pro x 64GB. Everything was fine when I built this system in September. I updated all the firmware's as I have used Corsair pretty much since 2000. 1 Day I updated the iCUE software and the next day my fans were on "Quiet" setting, but they went to full blast 1500 RPM. I tried selecting the other profiles and it just stayed that way. Everything else works fine. Fans on AIO worked as they should, but they are not controlled on Commander pro. I tried uninstalling and deleting left over files/folders and registry, reboot and reinstall. Nothing worked. I opened a support ticket and I just received my new commander pro. (Shipping is horrid) Anyway after plugging in everything and starting computer I could see the fans spinning and the lights off, very low if any noise. I went into iCUE and setup fans and everything was fine. I went to settings and updated the firmware on the Commander Pro. The fans were quiet and on the "Quiet" profile. Nothing running in the background other than iCUE and Jacknet RGB Sync to control motherboard and GPU RGB. I noticed the fans starting to rev up. All the way up to 1500 RPM. Still while on "Quiet" Profile. I tried changing profiles and nothing works. I replaced this thing already, just to find out it the firmware/software issue. On another note my CPU utilization is always around 10-12% while idle and my temps are always at idle around 45c-50c. I already tried re-applying thermal paste and re-seating CPU. I'm running a 3800X. Nothing is working. My CPU while gaming never gopes above 64c even in demanding games, but the idle is killing me. 45c-50c is too high for idle IMO. With nothing running in the background or at startup but those 2 programs. In Task Manager I see iCUE taking up 8-10% and Jacknet at 1-2%. Can someone offer me a fan curve. I'm not trying to send the commander pro back. It's not broken. It's the software and firmware. Also are there any updates coming out soon to fix the CPU utilization on the software?
  7. I have 8x LL120s. 2 are on the H100i RGB Platinum. The other 6 are on the Commander Pro. In iCUE (latest version) I go to the Pump and I can set the fan profiles with the presets. If I set to quiet the fans are 700-800 rpm. However if I go to the ones on the commander pro (latest firmware) I set the fans to quiet and they spend at 1470-1525 rpm. Setting to extreme on the commander pro and I get 1575-1675 rpm. What is going on?
  8. I'm not sure if I'm asking this correctly. I have the wallpaper engine and I can use iCUE enabled wallpaper. I know to click iCUE enable and audio enable. Question is this. The effects only seem to turn everything 1 color (typically White) and it's very light. Also not everything completely lights up. Its nothing like the regular lighting you get from using iCUE software. It's seems very off, like the zones aren't all lit on the devices (fans, etc..) and not all the lighting zones seem to be used. I checked "Customizable" and "audio responsive" I see some where you can change a slider to make the color fully come in, but that's like only a few. Is this on the creator? Also, if I search iCUE enabled or iCUE there aren't but a few. Is it slowing not being supported?
  9. Thanks, After uninstalling and restarting iCUE works without shutting down. I have since re-installed Jacks and its working fine now. Thanks for the help
  10. After I log into windows The iCUE software runs for a bit perfectly fine for a bout a minute then it just goes stops running. The lighting changes and when I check the task bar it's gone. Software I am using at startup: iCUE software Asus GameFirst JackNet RGB Sync v1.6 Afterburner RivaTuner I haven't done anything different after updating with 1 exception. I changed my Bios setting to power state S5 enabled. Upon setting it back to disabled the behavior is still the same. It's crashing and I have to start it up again. Also now when the iCUE window is open if I press X in top right corner the program shuts down instead of minimizing to task bar. This is a new behavior I have not had before. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. What should I do?
  11. Thanks for the help. Do you have a x570 motherboard? If so are you using a 4.0 riser cable to vertical mount?
  12. Thanks I got it to work. I had to use my headphones as the mic. Thanks for the help
  13. I have purchased the wallpaper engine and tried loading the iCUE enabled Corsair-O-Tron. I can't seem to get anything to happen when I play music. I did try the Corsair Collection and when I move my mouse the effects take place without issues. Do I need a microphone? I have the Virtuoso headsets and I can verify the mic is working. Am I doing something wrong? Is there any other sound effect wallpapers?
  14. I am looking to find out the max depth of a GPU I can use on the Crystal 680X. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I know it will be tight but I plan to vertically mount the Asus ROG Strix 5700XT. The deminsions are as follows: 12 " x 5.1 " x 2.1 " Inch 30.5 x 13 x 5.4 Centimeter My fan layout in the case is as follows: Front 3 Intake Top 2 Exhaust Rear Exhaust Bottom 2 Intake. As you can see there will be pretty good air flow. I will be using the Hydro Series H100i RGB Platinum CPU Cooler. So the only heat really will be from the GPU. There will be no overclocking the GPU. My thought is vertically will be ok if there is some room since the bottom 2 fans are intake and my home stays pretty cool. Thanks for the help
