  1. What I want to know from Corsair is: Why do you keep buying these broken Omron Switches, and will you ever stop buying them? My question will probably be ignored considering they don't even seem to recognize the issue.
  2. Why do you have two different versions of iCUE? Mine is 3.38.61 and I see you offer two separate versions. What's the difference between the versions? And will I lose all my macros by uninstalling 3.38.61 and then installing 4.9.350?
  3. Unfortunately, Razer also uses these Omron switches in some of their mice. I've had three of their mice, all with the same issue. I got sick of it and abandoned Razer and figured I'd go Corsair instead, only to buy this Harpoon mouse that uses the exact same switches. I feel like I'm haunted, but it's these darn switches that manufacturers cheap out on and keep buying. China floods the market with cheap crap. Stop buying low-quality Chinese products. I can't believe manufacturers find it worth it to keep buying these switches considering the RMAs must be piling up.
  4. This is NOT a firmware or software issue. This is a hardware issue because Corsair uses the cheap Chinese Omron switches that are notorious for having double-click issues. All mice on the market that use these switches have the same problem. What you need to do is return your mouse to Corsair and tell them to stop buying cheap hardware only to sell them back to you, malfunctioning and at an overprice. Just Google for "omron double click" (without quotation marks) and see for yourself. What Corsair is trying to do now is implementing a driver feature that prevents double-clicks in a too rapid succession to circumvent the fact that they're selling faulty products.
  5. I suppose sending back the product and switching to another brand is the only solution, since I don't seem to get any help with solving this here.
  6. Never have I had so many problems with a mouse. Seriously, Corsair, your brand is ranked very low with me now. This time it's the side buttons that no longer work within iCUE. I can use the side buttons i.e. inside games and such without issue, but whenever I try to record a macro within iCUE, it doesn't react at all when I use the side buttons. I've tried various suggestions from googling: - I've restarted the computer. - I've updated the firmware. - I've updated iCUE. - I've connected the mouse to a different USB-port. - I've tried removing the "Corsair composite virtual input device" in the device manager. - I've tried the "retain original key input" setting while creating macros. Nothing helps. Can I please for the love of god have just a normal mouse that works. The amount of crazy issues I've been having with Corsair hardware so far... seriously. I can still return the mouse and unless this is resolved asap I will be returning it and switching brands entirely.
  7. Are you sure that this is only due to firmware issues? These Harpoon mice use the infamous Omron switches which are notorious for having double-click issues. I have had 4 mice from a different manufacturer which all had this double-click issue. Now I bought the Harpoon only to find out that they use the same crappy Chinese Omron switches, and now this is my 5th mouse with double-click issues. Corsair, why the hell are you using these? Stop buying these switches. They are broken from manufacturing.
  8. This has to stop. I owned 2 mice from a different brand. Both of them had double-clicking issues. Had both of them replaced, and both replacements had the same issue. I decided to switch brand to Corsair. Now I have a Harpoon, and this mouse has the same issue. After investigating, it apparently is because all these mice use Omron switches that are basically faulty from production. So why is Corsair intentionally selling faulty products and fooling people all over the world? This has to stop! Stop buying cheap Chinese crap that doesn't work! I will certainly refund this mouse and avoid buying anything with these switches in the future. I just wonder how many people buy these faulty products without returning them. Shame on you Corsair!
  9. Thanks! Like I said in the first post, I did some further research into this and read in an old thread that someone from Corsair said this was due to some sort of OS/Windows limitation. No way that's the case since I know other manufacturers support this, as well as 3rd party freeware out there can also accomplish this. This excuse doesn't hold. It's merely a question of how you approach the problem and resolve it. Certainly there are ways to make it work. And when I buy expensive hardware like this, and there are even heavily macro-oriented devices available, one would expect to be able to run more than one macro of this kind.
  10. Two macros. Keyboard: Press F8 to start a toggle-macro that presses 'w' once every 5 seconds, repeating endlessly. Mouse: Hold right-click to "play while pressed" a macro that holds shift and left-clicks once, then releases shift and holds right-click for 2 seconds, repeating for as long as the button is held down. If I start any of these macros, the other will be interrupted and stop until reactivated.
  11. I am already currently using iCUE 3.34.161 and a K70 keyboard and Harpoon Wireless mouse. Everything is updated. Using two separate macros does not work because one macro will interrupt the other. If this was supposed to be fixed, it isn't.
  12. So I've been using a Corsair keyboard and a mouse from another manufacturer. I've been using one macro toggle that repeats constantly on the keyboard, and a separate one on my mouse that repeats while I hold down the right mouse button. So I figured to make it easier for myself, I'll replace the mouse from the other manufacturer so I'll have everything consolidated into iQUE. Well, now that both my devices are Corsair, I've noticed that it's no longer possible to have 2 macros running simultaneously. They'll cancel each other out. Literally making my new device completely useless to me (and it will be returned unless this is fixable). I was searching old threads and the only official reply I could find was from a couple of years ago where someone said that this is a limitation within the OS/Windows. I don't believe that one bit. How come it was working perfectly fine when I had two separate devices? How hard can it be to program proper input from different macros? I mean, other manufacturers can do this, so provenly it IS possible. There is even free software out there made by single people that can create several macros running repeatedly through any mouse/keyboard on the market, and yet Corsair, a world-wide billion dollar company can't do this? If Corsair keeps stating that then it's merely due to lack of knowledge, and not lack of possibility. Please resolve this! I will be returning my new Corsair mouse and unless this is resolved I'll be switching to a different manufacturer entirely in the future that I know already supports the use of multiple macros running simultaneously.
  13. I'm having the same issue and have been having it for a long time. Not to mention iQUE randomly closes itself. iQUE is crap. Won't buy Corsair ever again unless they get their act together.
  14. Over 2 year old thread, but I'm having these exact issues. If I use "while pressed" then logically anything included in the macro should stop immediately when I stop pressing the button, but it doesn't. For example, I want a macro that while the macro key is being held, it presses 3 once and then holds the right mouse button down while the macro key is pressed, and then repeats it every 12 seconds if it is still being held: Press key 3 Pause execution for 10 ms Release key 3 Pause execution for 10 ms Right mouse button press Pause execution for 12000 ms Right mouse button release *repeat if macro key is still pressed* But when you use "while pressed," it will keep going indefinitely, not caring if the button is pressed or not. In other words, "while pressed" works like a toggle that lacks a function to toggle it off again, so it just keeps on going. The only way to abort it is if you actually press the right click on your mouse. After this has been done, then the macro will stop working completely. If I press it again, it'll only press 3 and then completely ignore the right click. So this macro function is completely broken, and from the looks of it, it has been for years. Not looking good here, Corsair.
