Corsair Voyager a1600 - problems 09/2023
Corsair Albert replied to klehriker's topic in CORSAIR Pre-Built Systems
We have a newer graphics driver that's currently in the final stage of validation. I will provide an update as soon as it's available. -

Looking into the missing Recording feature. OBS is a suitable alternative in the meantime - though I understand you would prefer to not have to use another app for recording. On the plus side, the Stream Deck keys may be used to control OBS via the Stream Deck plugin for OBS. Thanks for notifying me about the notification in Diablo 4's settings. Blizzard was also unaware that AMD Advantage Drivers differ from the general public graphic drivers - hence why there was originally a popup when launching D4 to update drivers. They may have just forgotten to remove the memo in settings as well with the latest update. Looking into this now. What "user mode" settings aren't working? Is this via the AMD software? Based on your last two screenshots, I see our drivers allowing the VOYAGER laptops to fully utilize its hardware to achieve the performance which users are paying for. I think additional context such as performance difference needs to be noted here. The 6800H and 6900H are both designed to handle 95C max operating temperature, so I'm a bit confused as to where the "cooking" is. Perhaps I'll nickname my VOYAGER The Rock. Yes, I agree that having AMD Advantage drivers on 22.xx and general public graphics drivers on 23.xx simultaneously is confusing... but our version numbers are in line with what AMD provides to us. We're absolutely not trolling. Confusing end-users and prospective end-users is the absolute last thing I want.

Yes, we'll continue to update the VOYAGER laptop over time. Its support is most definitely not being discontinued. I've been informed that since our VOYAGER laptop utilizes AMD Advantage drivers, which differs from the general public's Andrenalin drivers, are actually up-to-date. In other words, our current 22.20.42.04 graphics driver is equivalent to Andrenalin 23.xx. Diablo 4 has been updated accordingly to reflect this, and should no longer give the message that 22.20.42.04 is outdated/required. With gaming laptops, it is generally advised to game when using the laptop's provided charger for optimal performance.

Sorry to hear you're encountering this issue. Please refer to my post here: -
We validate and publish new drivers as soon as we can. I suggest performing a clean install of the latest GPU drivers here. Please excuse version 21.xx from our website, as the website is currently in transition. If that does not work, a BIOS update to version 1.38 here may help. The response above should address your questions as well.

Hi all, We've received plenty of questions regarding AMD video drivers for our VOYAGER a1600 laptop and just wanted to provide some guidance/context. It is not recommended to download the AMD driver that is found on AMD’s website. AMD Advantage laptops such as your CORSAIR VOYAGER require a unique driver specifically designed for your laptop. This driver is designed for your laptop to make sure everything is working in unison and at peak performance. AMD drivers should only be downloaded from the CORSAIR website or via Windows Update. The latest driver will be available on the CORSAIR website before they are available via Windows Update. Installing the driver from the AMD website may introduce system instability along with potential performance impacts/issues. If you have installed the driver from the AMD website, it is recommended that you uninstall this driver ASAP. To uninstall the AMD drivers, navigate to the Windows search bar and lookup “Add or Remove Program” within Windows, as this is the recommended method for uninstallation. Locate “AMD Software” and click on the vertical “…”, where you’ll be prompted with the “Uninstall” option. You do not have to do anything with “AMD Chipset Software”. At the end of the uninstallation process, please restart your VOYAGER to fully complete the uninstallation. After restarting your VOYAGER, please navigate to “corsair.com/downloads”, where you’ll be able to download & install the latest AMD drivers.

Introducing the CORSAIR TC100 RELAXED Gaming Chair
Corsair Albert replied to Corsair Albert's topic in New Product Releases
Yes, unfortunately, the TC60 is discontinued. -
You are correct. I wouldn't say we're phasing our iCUE integration for our PSUs. The HXi line was recently revised. I like your thinking! I agree - a Platinum/Titanium efficiency for anything 1000W or above would be pleasant. 🙂
