This driver was a pleasant surprise to me when getting into Ubuntu. Im not that familiar with linux yet. When you say double click the quick install and run it in a terminal do you mean just copy paste the code into terminal? I ended up running the qmake && auto command or something in the read me and only found out a little later to run the script by calling it in the folder. Anyway the result was the driver wouldnt start, and on reboot Gnome desktop wouldnt start and all I had was terminal. I tried uninstalling the files but it couldnt find them. o.O I think I buggered it up. I didnt have anything important on there as im just playing around with linux and will reinstall. But could someone give me detailed instructions on how to install and setup the driver to run on startup? Im using Ubuntu Gnome 15.10
Im having issues with Linux in general because Skylake and LGA1151. 6700K and maximus viii hero. My other usb devices are not playing nice in windows either :\ And I do have an issue where CUE will not detect the board during startup. I had to delay the process until the USB driver fully initialized so the keyboard would be detected by CUE. But a step by step procedure that others have had success with will let me know if its how im interpreting the instructions or if its the hardware itself. Also the required packages may have not installed properly. The first one did. But the others just said something about 0 new 0 installed.
