  1. Right, so since i have 2 CORES i didnt want to waste an entire one for just one QL, so I can just connect 2 QLs with a splitter to keep it to 6 connections and then I'll still have an extra CORE for expansion. Oof, that site has alot of cables, which one should I be getting? Just so I dont screw up, it would just be a rgb fan to light node core and I guess I'd need a splitter to connect to the ComPro also correct? Looking at the site I'm confused on labels as to which those are.
  2. Ok so this is what I have. Corsair h100i Platinum (including: ML120 Fans x 2) Corsair QL120 Fans x 7 Corsair Lighting Node CORE x 2 Corsair Commander Pro x 1 In the Commander Pro I have the 2 USB Connections 1 for the h100i & 1 for 1 Lighting Node CORE which takes 6 of the QL120 Fans meaning I have ONE extra QL120 Fan & 1 extra Lighting Node CORE. I suppose I can hook the single QL120 into the extra Lighting Node CORE OR is there another way just using a splitter between the extra fan and one of the existing ones and keep control over everything? I think I'm planning to put 4 QL120s on the front of my case, 2 QL120s on the bottom of my case & 1 QL120 on the Rear exhaust on my case & then have the 2 ML120s on the radiator at the Top of my case. The other option is to run 4 QL120s on the front, 2 QL120s on the Radiator at Top & 1 QL120 as the Rear Exhaust and then the 2 ML120 fans on the bottom but since the h100i doesnt support the QL120s that would probably cause more issues and more headaches for connecting everything. So what is the best and easiest solution to be able to sync all 7 QL120 fans? Can I use a splitter somehow off of a pair of QL fans or is the easiest thing to do to just use the SECOND Light Node Core I have and hope I have enough internal usb headers? Is there a splitter to run the extra fan off of just one usb header that the main set of Commander Pro and first Light Node CORE use? Sorry I'm just a but confused now and would like to know the best way to connect everything to keep control over everything and keep the light patterns synced. Thanks Again -DJ
  3. Ok so 2 QL fans connected to pump for power but then connected to the CORE, then all 4 other fans connected to the CORE and to the Command Pro for power and control?
  4. Ok, so the 2 qls I use for the radiator off the pump and the other 4 can go directly into ComPro, 4 of the 6 fan inputs and this will give me speed control on all fans and syncable rgb, correct?
  5. I have 6 total ql120s. I have 2 light node cores from each 3 pack of ql120s I have the commander pro and I have the h100i platinum but I'm not going to use those ML fans I'm going to use 2 of the qls on the radiator and then 3 qls on front of my case and then 1 ql on the rear. The compro has 6 fan inputs, I have 6 fans, I was told the compro does the same job as a led hub plus offers control. So I dont know if I can just plug all 6 qls into the compro or if I need to hook 2 to the cooler pump for control from the pump then the pump into compro and the other 4 qls directly into 4 of the 6 fan inputs on compro or if the node core has to be used. I've seen diagrams and it looks like this would be how to do it but I'm only about 80% sure.
  6. Hello I made a change to my setup I need to install TODAY so please clear this up. I've read all of the threads on setup buy I'm still slightly confused as this is my first time. I have the h100i Platinum but I bought TWO 3 pack kits of QL120 Fans both come with Light Node CORE and can take 6 fans but also Comander Pro can take 6 fans and I have a Commander Pro as well. Do I need the Light Node Cores at all? If I hook 2 of the fans into the pump & 4 into the ComPro directly OR should I hook all 6 fans into ComPro directly? Should I hook 2 fans into the cooler and a node core and then 4 into the 2nd node core and then both into the ComPro? If I hook 2 into the cooler and 4 into ComPro are all light effects able to be synced? If I hook all 6 directly into ComPro will the 2 on the cooler have proper control with the pump? I'm not going to use the.2 ML fans that came with the h100i Platinum for right now so all of the fan types are the same so what is the best way to hook the cooler and the 6 fans since I have 2 light pro cores and a ComPro? Please help since my PC is all apart now! Thanks!
  7. Hello All, First I have read the post that shows all of the products and their descriptions but I'm still confused as to how I would hook all of this together to be able to control it in iCue. I have the H100i 240mm Platinum with the 2 ML Fans but I was going to get 4 LL120s until I saw the QL. So I saw the QL come with Lighting Node Core. How would I set this all up to be controllable, I also have the vengeance pro rgb memory but that doesnt matter here. I saw the QL and light node pro can take 6 fans, I'd have 4 QL and then the 2 ML that are with the h100i platinum. So can I run all 6 fans to the light node core or do I need to split the 2 up because one is ml and one set is ql? Do I also need a commander pro? Or can I set the h100i up with it's own hardware and the 4 ql with their own hardware and still have icue control? I've never installed all of these lights along with a cooler and a matching software before. Currently my PC is apart so I'd like to understand this ASAP especially if I need to order extra stuff since I've already spent about $3500 in the last 2 weeks. Thanks for the help! -DJ
