Its possible to work around the need to open Cue (i'm using iCue on a non-pro) by holding down the mute button twice (once to mute sidetone, again to unmute).

I honestly downloaded it from the site itself, from googling iCue Download. That said, Corsair Void Wireless, here, unplugging/SELECT EFFECT drops 20% usage to 3% or less.
