  1. Yeah thanks Nick, found that out the hard way. So I now need v4 for my mouse to work properly but need v3 for my CPU cooler to be visible and controllable. Brill. Looks like I'll have to RMA our mice and revert to v3. Has anyone here had a successful RMA and received a mouse without the double-clicking issues?
  2. My Harpoon had been behaving quite well since my last update but over the last couple of months I've noticed it getting worse and worse. I've just come back to see the status and thought I'd try installing the new iCue and disabled the Button Response Optimisation etc. Although it certainly has improved, it is still definitely doing it for me. I'll give it a try on my partner's mouse and see if she notices a difference. Will continue to test and report. As a side, within the newer iCue 4.*, my H80i v2 is no longer showing as a device. Is this a known issue?
  3. Just to say that I had been forced to keep the 2 mice we have on the old 0.5.49/0.5.64 firmware so they were in a usable state despite trying several of the newer versions. I bit the bullet and updated them both to the 1.7.58/1.11.113 firmware about 3 days ago and would like to confirm that I have not had a single occurrence of double clicking on either of them since. It's been a very long road which has been far from ideal however I appreciate the efforts it must have taken during this difficult time so thank you. As a note, is there a way to backup or take a local copy of a firmware incase a rollback is needed? Once bitten twice shy!
  4. @CorsairNick - The firmware my iCue is offering is still version 1.7.58 which is what I have tried previously and confirm does not help. Judging by the other responses about it either making it worse or preventing a downgrade, I will not be re-trying it either! If you have a beta firmware or a direct link to an alternative, I (and I'm sure a lot of others on here) will be more than happy to test it.
  5. Just an update to say that this certainly has NOT been solved. I've been running the old firmware without problem since my post some months ago. A few days ago I updated to latest f/w available to give it a try and straight away double-clicks were apparent. A re-downgrade to the old f/w and disappeared again. To add, my wifes mouse had been working with only intermittent double clicks on an f/w from around December but suddenly ramped up the frequency in the last week or so - curiously without a f/w upgrade or anything! A downgrade to the old 0.5* f/w instantly fixed it. To confirm, I have not uninstalled, reinstalled or fiddled with the iCue software on either of the machines, only the mouse/dongle firmwares. As a reminder, the old f/w can be found at the link below - with thanks to @SlugMan for providing it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h2qskaftkm...82%29.zip?dl=0
  6. Search is your friend but this thread should help: https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=193213
  7. @Corsair Nick, the Firmware versions I was having huge problems with was: Dongle - 1.7.58 Mouse - 1.9.85 I reverted to these older versions at the end of Feb and have had little or no problems since: Dongle - 0.5.49 Mouse - 0.5.64 To confirm, this was not limited to any specific application but generally would action multiple clicks on one mouse button press regardless of what or where you were clicking - desktop icons, Excel, games etc. etc. For the record, the trick of reverting to an older iCue did not work for me, only the rollback of firmware. There have been updates to iCue since but I have not dared to try the latest firmware's (if there are any!) purely to save myself the hassle as the old ones appear to be working.
  8. NM, just found your post on another thread with an older firmware attached - https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=192913&highlight=harpoon+rgb+wireless Thanks SlugMan, giving it a try now.
  9. You still got the f/w file at all? Would love to give it a try on mine. When I logged it with support, the file they sent me was reported as "not a valid firmware file" - in the end they told me to return the mouse. I did get a new one but it has the same issue.
  10. +1, same issue here. I contacted support and they sent an alleged firmware but was not a "compatible firmware file" according to iCue. In the end they just told me to return the mouse! New one arrives and boom, same problem. Does anyone have a working old firmware file they could share?
