  1. This patch is exactly what I was looking for, fixed a few issues I was having. I think I'll stay here for while
  2. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but think about what you're trying to do. Close your eyes and imagine for a moment that it's impossible. Then open your eyes and realize that it's actually impossible. Your best bet would be Armoury Crate or Aura if you were able to change the argb on your Asus GPU, not iCUE.
  3. Was playing a game, iCUE began using 100% CPU usage. The system froze and applications like OBS, Watch Dogs Legion, Discord and NVIDIA Broadcast crashed due to iCUE hogging resources. Contemplating uninstalling and moving far away from any corsair product. I've seen some bad patches before but this was by far the worst I've ever dealt with. Specs: RTX 3080 FE i9-9900k Z390-F G2 EVGA 750w PSU ROG Strix LC 360 corsair fans, corsair keyboard
  4. It's hard to say. Although one thing is certain, lack of communication is the worst thing a company can do. If I knew any better I'd say it was pandemic related, but this issue has been happening long before that crisis. We're not in any obligation to receive patch notes. We have to assume by definition that some type of performance optimizations, bug fixes and the elimination of security vulnerabilities have been implemented.
  5. I can't seem to find patch notes for recent versions anymore. Thanks for posting your experiences
  6. I know the feeling, I'm definitely not installing latest patch without reviewing the changes.
  7. I had this issue before. Try turning on global Vsync in your Nvidia control panel or for your browser under manage 3D settings. That should fix it, I don't think iCUE is the culprit here.... but it might be.
  8. I read the thread Dominat0r. Honestly just ignore that person, I get that you're frustrated; but c-attack is obviously no help. I'm also confused as to why they represent themselves as a Corsair Employee. I disagree with everything c-attack mentioned as well. I will agree with you that it's not an isolated issue, I see this brought up in almost every post I see. I just built a new computer with completely different specs and it has this dashboard freezing problem too. Along with a few performance heavy Triple A titles, iCUE is the only 3rd party software installed. This leads me to believe it's a bug in the software. I tried to troubleshoot and isolate the issue before I started to build a completely new PC, but I yielded no results. On a side note, a close friend of mine who randomly decided to do a full Corsair build; messaged me about why their Corsair Dashboard might be freezing, I linked them this thread.
  9. Can we get some eyes on this 28 page thread about corsair dashboard freezing. This issue has been going on for almost 2 years, with a lack of support from Corsair regarding this. https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=178964
  10. If it works please share the batch file, many of us here would be very grateful..
  11. This is interesting and I never thought of it that way before. Maybe our builds consist of something their test machines don't. Or perhaps they don't stress test the iCUE program at all. Nonetheless, we could all try sharing detailed specs about our PC and try to find similarities that may be the core cause. Regardless if the problem is bad coding, I think it's worth a shot. It's really hard to test each program to see if it could be causing adverse effects because the dashboard freezes randomly and not on command. I'm going to overload my system with intense gaming and tasks to see if I can replicate the freezing 100% of the time and try to rule out any variables below. 12. This thread may or may not be related. This thread relates to the dashboard freezing and cooling reverting to the stock cooling settings when this happens, usually resulting in unintended cooling for hardware components. The only current workaround is scheduling a task to restart the iCUE service or restart it manually. I can't believe there is literally 26 pages on the issue for this thread as of 2/8/2020. Hopefully we can expect a fix. I would like to note that I've seen big brand companies remove forums from their website altogether and suggest the community use social media platforms to troubleshoot and offer feedback instead. I've seen this happen around problems without solutions as a matter of, "clearing their name". Let's hope this doesn't happen here. I have faith Corsair can fix this... eventually
  13. I can vouch for having a custom curve on my cooler. If anyone doesn't have a custom curve that experiences the dashboard freezing please come forth.
  14. if you are indeed referring to iCUE dashboard freezing, refer to this never ending thread. https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=178964
