  1. That's not great to hear, I ended up buying Corsair CMW32GX4M2D3600C18 though it's not in my hands as yet to try for another week or so as I bought online from the US and I'm on the other side of the planet. I've been reading stories about folks not getting the ram to either run at full rated spec and/or RGB not working. And to think we all bought Corsair with the belief that it would be the most compatible for performance and lighting. I've gone and got all Corsair fans/lighting, commander pro, H115 platinum, K70LP and dark core mouse etc hoping to keep it all working within the iCue ecosystem. I get a feeling I'm in for a heap of headaches and a lot of wasted money maybe, time will tell. Edit: Well the good news is the ram I got just works, simple as that. I didn't do anything but it runs perfectly @ spec speed easily and the RGB flawlessly.
  2. yeah, I too always look at vendors QVL but it didn't have much listed in higher ddr speeds yet. edit: was looking at wrong QVL, my fault.
  3. I've had a similar issue with a z97x mb and a new K70LP, all seemed ok till I plugged in the extra cable to use the keyboard usb port for my new Dark Corse SE mouse. Computer has all sorts of issues during post and hangs. with cpu errors since...strange
  4. Hi all, As title suggests I'm wondering which Corsair 32GB of memory would be most compatible or best with a Asus Strix x570-E and CPU will be AMD ryzen 3700x? The 2x16gb Vengeance Pro 3600 ram suggested on Corsairs site isn't available here in Australia, wanted Corsair RGB because of Asus/Corsair working with iCue now. Any other suggestions?
  5. Ok, yes you can do it just takes more custom layering each cover etc. Finally it's not that bad after all, just takes some creativity now and I'll be rocking. I was trying to do it just using layered preset effects and you can only use that single preset. Told you I'm slow lol, really thankful for knowing how to save hardware profile too, was doing my head in.
  6. What I was trying is deep blue with rainbow visor swishing across back and forth. Basically I have a soft profile I like and was trying to save it as hard. But there's different lights and things for the mouse. I think maybe it can be done but I need to learn more about doing custom schemes. No idea how though, I'll learn or give up. Having enough issues just getting the mouse/keyboard and computer working with each other. Very nice when they do play together well.
  7. Ahhh, found it right when first making thee profile. Thank you, seems it won't allow the type of custom I wanted, static and moving colours. Only allows 1 action. But I know how to make hardware profiles now, many thanks.
  8. Hi all, just got my new K70 LP and Dark Core SE and was trying to work out profiles and I deleted one of the standard on keyboard memory profiles that was pre-set. I wanted to save my own custom to one of the memory slots on the keyboard, but I can't seem to work it out sadly. I can do soft profiles no issue, no idea how to recover the profile I deleted off keyboards memory or how to add one as there's no save to device option I can find anywhere. So I now only have 2 saved profiles on the board itself, the others are soft and need icue in windows running etc. Can anyone help me please or point me in a good direction for an idot to such as myself to learn how to do this?
