  1. Corsair RGB everything. Had to sacrifice RGB though) Pretty satisfied with the system, only thing left now is to NVLINK with another 2080TI. Yes excessive, but I pretty much wanted a system that can handle anything I throw at it and of course RGB. Also I had to modify the Case in order to fit 4 140mm case fans in front for push/pull setup :D small tab in front that just needs to be shaved and it fits. https://imgur.com/a/6wUGTZZ
  2. Like I said earlier, I just tried it out as a last resort. ICUe hasn’t crashed, usb has not disconnected, everything is running smooth like butter. That link is the only thing I tried and for some reason it’s working for me. I know that it is powered by SATA. I don’t know how it works in the software but that cpu fan port is affecting the hardware in some form or another. I’ll go enjoy my rainbow wave link and no usb disconnect. :) Since I changed the power setting on the cpu_fan I haven't had any problems with either software or hardware. My computer has been on for 12 hours and i'm still able to change the settings on ICUe software and it hasn't crashed. No wonky RGB lighting in the fans or pump itself. This will be my last post regarding this, you can either try it or not. It has worked for me so:sillygrin I only shared what I tried and discovered and it worked. Up to the devs to further investigate it but so far so good and I don't have to hear that accursed usb disconnect sound and actually have a functional ICUe software.
  3. It is not, but I seem to have found the solution anyway. Enjoy ICUe to its fullest potential if this solution works for you. No more solid color, no more turning ICUe off, no more workaround. Enjoying Rainbow Wave Link and controlling my fans through the software as we speak.
  4. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=168801 This fixed it for me :) Come on Corsair Jam I seem to have solved this issue after 1 year of everyone here trying xD. Will accept compensation :D
  5. This all makes sense now! I just realized that whenever I had my fans on Turbo Mode I didn't have problems with ICUe software because I had the cpu fans (in which the AIO is connected to) go on turbo mode as well! This time I have it set on my bios that CPU_Fan gets 100% of the power and so far so good! I've been running it all day and no problems with USB disconnect or artifacts on the RGB. Enjoying the Rainbow Wave Link across my devices :) What's funny is that you guys have been complaining about this since November of 2018 and I've only had my system for less than thirty days and I may have solved the issue for you guys XD jk jk let me know if this solution helps for you guys because it definitely helped with me. Maybe Corsair might compensate me for this fix :D
  6. Update: it's been almost 9 hours and still no USB Disconnect!!!!! ICUe is still working, all my devices are still there. No USB descriptor device failure.... This is the fix guys!!! I just followed these steps: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=168801 No workaround! Rainbow Wave link! No problems at all!!! No restarts! No artifacts! ICUE Software working completely well!!
  7. I'm really hoping that this is the fix because I am sick and tired of that USB disconnect sound. The ICUe software is actually working properly now >.< I can actually control everything now without it getting rid of some of the devices (mainly the H115i platinum disappears).
  8. Almost 4 hours now and still no USB disconnects O_O or reconnects.... No funky RGB LED lights getting all crazy... This may be the fix guys... and I haven't had any "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). Settings: I'm on Rainbow Wave Link across devices. No issues!!! :D Let me know if it fixes it for you guys!
  9. Hey guys, not sure if anyone has tried this yet but I was having the disconnect issues before and I read in one of the other threads that some of the other water coolers that didn't have a SATA power source to set the CPU power fan voltage @ 100%. So I set my fan into DC mode @ turbo mode and so far so good. I haven't had any disconnect issues since I restarted my computer and it's been about 2 hours. Will report back if it disconnects again. I know we have a SATA power source, but I figure why not try it, what more could I lose? XD
