  1. Hello, I bought a server powered by a HX750i and needed to add some disk + GPU (3090) The problem is that I lack some of the cables (1 x SATA and 2x PCIE 8 pins ) to do so. Problem 1 : Corsair cables are not compatible from one PSU to another Problem 2 : Where can I find such compatible cables ? If I check the graph, it looks like I need Type 3 cables Sata : is this sata power cable compatible ? PCIE: is this PCIE cable compatible ? Useful links : PSU cable compatibility :  legacy
  2. Hi, I already asked this question to their support, and I just want to ask what the community thinks about it as well. I have a PSU from 2008, model CMPSU-1000HX, it's already 15yrs old and still going strong. Used it for 8-12 hrs per day, sometimes 24/7 at max load of about 20-30%. Never had an issue or whatsoever throughout those years, and I think it still runs in pristine condition. I'm really proud of it and as much as possible, I don't want to replace it with something new. Of course as time goes by, new tech is developed, and corsair releases new psu's. My question is, if their modular cables would still be compatible with my 15yr old PSU? In Corsair's PSU Cable Compatibilty Chart, is my PSU under "Original HX"? If it's compatible with my PSU, will cable mods 12VHPWR PCI-e Cable for Corsair be compatible with my PSU as well? Is it possible that Corsair's new modular cables have a mismatch with their old PSU's? Like reversed polarity etc... Source: Gamers Nexus (see attached photo) Answer from Corsair's tech support: It is compatible according to Manny of Technical Support Tier 3
  3. Just before my old computer died I had bought some RAM from Crucial.com. I never got a chance to put it in. Can anyone tell me if this RAM will work in my Corsair Vengeance i-7200: Here is what I see on the RAM card: ct16g4dfd8266.c16fp 16GB DDR4-2666 UDIMM 1.2v cl19
  4. Hello, I have a H100i v2 liquid cooler and I am going to upgrade to a i5 13600kf LGA1700 & ASUS TUF GAMING B660M-PLUS WIFI. I was wondering If I buy the 1700LGA kit will it fit or not.
  5. I was wondering if the Ironclaw RGB Wireless is fully (FULLY) compatible with macOS, regarding functionality and the ICUE software. Thank you in advance
  6. Just like the title. I'm thinking about picking this cooler up, right now I still using AM4 CPU, I might change to AM5 in the future. Another the question, can someone confirm If you're using the cooler with AM4 socket. Does it easy to remove the pump from the CPU? Especially can you twist the pump head without any problem? I don't like the 4 points mounting because I can't twist the pump for easily disassemble, the only way is wiggle it a little bit and yank, but there still a chance if pull out the CPU out of the socket too. This Capellix use two point stock mounting method, also another reason why I prefer this over the new cheaper option RGB Elite just came out.
  7. I updated my Windows 11 machine to the first version of iCUE 4 without trouble. The next version hosed my system so bad I had to restore a backup image. I am running an Intel based rig with nVidia graphics card pushing 4 monitors, 32GB on board memory and tons of USB devices. Uninstalling iCUE brings the computer to a screeching halt after the process gets to about 10%. I have stripped all references to iCUE from the registry to start clean, but that didn't work. Going back to version 3ish didn't work either. Windows is build 22000.167 (the latest). Any know software compatibility issues? Thanks
  8. hello, I have corsair vengeance pro rgb memory and an asus x99 deluxe motherboard but as it stands the motherboard doesn't allow the control of the rgb. I'm upgrading my system and looking at msi meg z590 ace and I'm wondering if anyone is able to tell me: - will the motherboard allow me to control the colour effects of the vengeance ram via Icue? - If this motherboard won't allow the control of the vengeance memory lighting effects via Icue, which motherboards will and how can I check this is a feature of a given board? best Laser
  9. Hi all! I have a question for a new build. Motherboard: MSI B460M PRO CPU: Intel Core i5-10600 I have found as an offer, the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz 8GB (2 x 4GB) CMK8GX4M2C3000C16 memory modules. The CPU's normal speed is 2666MHz for RAM. Therefore, my question is, can I use these 3000MHz modules with this morherboard and make them automatically (via a simple setting such as XMP) to run at 2666MHz? I do not want to overclock anything or to change manually the frequency and timings... Thank you.
  10. Hi, I could not be 100% sure if the original cable between PSU HX1000 platinium ( 2021 model) and AX1200i ( 2013 or 2014) can be swapped safely. From compatibility corsair chart all type 3 and type 4 cable except 24 pin seems to be compatible. - However for Molex/4 pin, the pinout seems different (see picture attached). why original cable between HX1000 and AX1200i can be swapped with different pinout? - PCIE/sata the pinout are the same so can they be swapped? Thank you
  11. Hey, I'm not that familiar with iCUE and I wanted to ask if it was possible to control 3rd Party fans when their directly plugged into the ARGB Header on the motherboard, without any outside controller if possible. I use a A520 Aorus Elite by Gigabyte and I don't like their software so I wanted to try this. The fans are from Deepcool. Thanks in advance
  12. G'day legends. Yes, the age old question of "Is my ram compatible". Before we get started, I understand there is a QVL list - and if my RAM is not listed on it, then I will most likely have issues. I currently own ram set: CMD64GX4M4C3200C16 Planning to upgrade my system to 10th Gen MATX: MSI MPG z490m On the QVL, CMD64GX4M4C3200C16 is not listed. However, CMT64GX4M4C3200C16 is. The differences? "T" is RGB where as "D" is a white LED, thats the only info I can find. Can someone point out the differences in these chipsets, if there are any? CMD64GX4M4C3200C16 not being listed on the QVL obviously raises concerns, but i literally bought it about 2 months ago and I dont want to have to go through the process of selling the ram at less than what I paid for it etc etc etc. cheers everyone!
  13. Why doesn't Corsair place the version number of the RAM on the outside of the package box? Unfortunately, I did not pay close enough attention to MSI's website for memory compatibility on an MSI MEG X570 Unify motherboard. The CMW32GX4M4C3200C16 memory that I purchased (4 x 8GB Vengeance RGB Pro) would not work with all 4 sticks in the 4 slots. It would work with any 2 sticks. After talking with MSI and reviewing the compatibility chart, you need version 4.31 NOT 4.32. Fortunately, Newegg took my Corsair memory back because it was within 30 days. However, I am stuck because vendor can tell me the version. You have to open the box and inspect each RAM stick. I read so many negative stories about Corsair on here and now am building a second gaming PC with Corsair products, again. You would think I would have learned the first time around. Corsair is not answering the phone and is extremely slow answering messages. Prior to buying the specified Corsair product, I called both Corsair and MSI to make sure of compatibility. Neither mentioned version number and both said something to the effect of "our products work very well together" and what you want should work. I should have picked up on the word "should". Shame on me I guess. Is there any solution to buying compatible RAM for all 4 slots?
  14. Hi, I'm planning on changing my first build and I was wondering about fan compatibility. I currently have 2 stock fans, and 3 Corsair SP120 RGB Fans, although the system isn't up and running yet, I've attached the included RGB Hub to the case and connected the correct wires. I'm considering upgrading my 2 stock fans to 2x LL140 RGB fans, I noticed that these come with (what looks to me to be a different Hub) and was wondering whether I could simply remove the old Hub, and attach all 5 Corsair to the Hub that came with my LL140's. Has anyone got experience with a similar setup and could let me know whether this would work? Or what alternatives are there
  15. So I bought CMK16GX4M2D3600C18 RAM over a month ago now and my friend knew I was building a computer and bought me ram too for my birthday thinking it would put me at 32 GB. However the problem is I don't know if I can mix these two, and I can't return my 3600 MHz and I think my friend can't return the 3200 MHz anymore because the store only offered 14 days return time and he bought it pretty prematurely. Does anyone know if these two are likely to not run together?:[pouts:
  16. Hi Guys, I believe my good old PSU is having some issues and needs replacing after 7 years:) It served me well. Question is: I already have a H115iPro, linked to a USB port. If I buy a RM850i 1. Do I have to dedicate another USB slot on the Motherboard, 2. Is there a pass through setup I was unable to fathom from online manual 3. Assuming the 2 above are no, How??? Do I need a commander or some other snappily named and marketing approved gizmo or accessories. I am pretty sure I am not the only one. PS. I prefer not to have any LED's on, pulsing or dancing around except to show me the status of a module or system. I know, despite the horrandeous performance loss
  17. I have corsair LL 120mm series fans 3pack with rbg lighting hub and Lighting Node PRO, 2x 140mm LL series fans and a 60cm rbg led lighting pro Expansion Kit. So can 120mm and 140 run at same hub? Do I need a commander pro? Thanks.
  18. Less than a month ago, I purchased 2 separate pairs of DDR4, 3200Mhz, 8 GB Memory sticks. The SKU # is CMW16GX4M2C3200C16W. I got two pairs (32 GB total) because it was less expensive than getting all 4 together. Looking at some of the threads in this forum, now I can see why. I haven't opened the boxes yet but I can see that they are all the same version (ver. 4.32). I'm doing this build (hopefully) on January 1st which is 3 days away. So here is my question: Is it safe to assume that, since they are the same version, the Motherboard will read all four DIMMs, or should I return these and order a four pack?
  19. iCUE for macOS is now officially available! Here's a full compatibility list that'll be updated as new devices are validated (please note that iCUE for macOS only supports CORSAIR peripherals). Many of our recent product releases feature out of the box compatibility, however some of our older releases may require a firmware update. Our current firmware update procedure requires Windows 10 either on a separate machine or through a solution such as Boot Camp, instructions for updating your peripherals on Windows can be found on the official iCUE for macOS landing page linked above. iCUE for macOS Device Compatibility [updated 11/20/19] KEYBOARDS K55 RGB K57 RGB Wireless K63 (Wired) K70 RGB MK.2 K70 RGB MK.2 Low Profile K83 Wireless STRAFE RGB MK.2 K63 Wireless* K63 Wireless SE* K65 RGB* K65 RGB LUX* K65 RGB Rapidfire* K66* K68* K68 RGB* K70 RGB* K70 LUX RGB* K70 Rapidfire* K95 RGB* K95 RGB Platinum* STRAFE* STRAFE RGB* K95 RGB Platinum SE* K70 RGB MK.2 IG Series* K70 RGB MK.2 SE* MICE GLAIVE RGB GLAIVE RGB PRO HARPOON RGB HARPOON RGB PRO HARPOON RGB Wireless IRONCLAW RGB IRONCLAW RGB Wireless M55 RGB PRO M65 RGB Elite MM800 NIGHTSWORD RGB SABRE RGB M65 RGB* M65 RGB PRO* DARK CORE RGB* DARK CORE SE RGB* KATAR* SABRE Optical* SABRE Laser* SCIMITAR RGB* SCIMITAR RGB PRO* M65 RGB Elite IG Series* AUDIO HS45 Surround HS60 Surround HS70 Wireless HS60 PRO Surround HS70 PRO Wireless ST100 VIRTUOSO RGB VIRTUOSO RGB SE VOID Surround VOID RGB USB VOID RGB Wireless VOID PRO Surround VOID RGB PRO USB VOID RGB PRO Wireless VOID ELITE Surround VOID RGB ELITE USB VOID RGB ELITE Wireless *Device may require a firmware update before using with iCUE on macOS, current firmware update method requires Windows 10 on a PC or through Boot Camp on a Mac. 20. Hi, I bought by accident CMT16GX4M2Z3200C16 instead of CMT16GX4M2C3200C16 This is dominator platinum rgb 16gb ddr4 3200mhz. I’m going to use it on a ROG z390-F with an i7 9700k at 5ghz or 5.2ghz. As far as I know, it will work, the specs say “intel 300 compatible” (let me know if I’m wrong). But what about the OC? When I enable the XMP, will it load values optimized for Ryzen and not intel? Are these values just the timing and volt, and I can change it manually to solve the problem? or it’s more than that and it’s better to return the product? I did not open it yet, but it’s just too much work, if there is no difference I will keep them. Thank you. Edit: I just got this reply from customer support, which btw is amazing, they reply within a day if not faster. “Z series SKUs are optimized for Ryzen, but should be perfectly fine on Intel platforms.” Still...it means that it will work, but will the performance by affected?
  21. I have a ridiculous amount of Corsair products, especially that are going into the new ryzen 3950x build I am making. However, my one qualm is that iCue does not work with all my RGB. Corsair has top notch RGB lighting and quality products, but I would love to see you guys work with MSI Mystic Light and not just Aura Sync. The reason, I plan to put in the MSI godlike in my build and would like it to play nice with all my corsair RGB. I saw, in a much earlier thread, that the team was working on getting permitting and contracting done with MSI. Has there been any progress? Also I got an EKWB, (the MSI 2080 Sea Hawk EK) and would also love to see it work with Corsair. Can EKWB jump on this band wagon too? Finally, with all the RGB lighting your team releases, have you considered RGB fittings for hard tubing? Thermal take has a set, but I know Corsair could do it better and make it sync with all its software. Really looking forward to hearing back from the Corsair team on the questions I askes and what new updates you might be coming out with in the near future.
  22. Does anyone know if it's possible to mount the H150i Pro RGB on the front of an Antec P110 silent ? From the specs, that case is compatible with 360mm radiators, but I'm worried about the length of the tube to reach the cpu ?
  23. Hi, I am building a ryzen 1200 system with asrock AB350 Pro 4 mobo & currently planning on buying corsair ram. I have come across a recently released corsair vengeance lpx 3200MHz model with part number CMK8GX4M1E3200C16 on some shopping websites in my country but I am unable to find it on corsair website. As such I am unsure about claims regarding its ryzen compatibility & timings on the shopping sites. Please confirm the above & give an official product description link for the above mentioned model.
