TuningIsLife
I have recently been having some issues with my Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB sticks. They are doing the rainbow wave, and are not showing up in iCue anymore. I did some research, and people suggested removing any software that might take control of them, such as an Intel tuning utility, or third-party RGB software, which I did. I even removed the sticks, and put them in a different slot, then tried the same slots again. No change. Occasionally they would show up in iCue with a red triangle on them. I turned on debugging and did some research, and this is what I got, logs filled with messages like these: 2020-04-16T11:07:18 W cue.llaccess.server: dramWriteByte failed "Dram [0:5b]" cmd: 97 data: 0 2020-04-16T11:07:18 W cue.llaccess.server: dramWriteByte failed "Dram [0:5b]" cmd: 97 data: 0 2020-04-16T11:07:18 W cue.llaccess.server: dramWriteByte failed "Dram [0:5b]" cmd: 97 data: 0 2020-04-16T11:08:42 W cue.llaccess.server: Failed to lock SMBus controller: 0 2020-04-16T11:39:17 W cue.llaccess.server: Failed to lock SMBus controller: 0 2020-04-16T11:39:17 W cue.llaccess.server: Failed to lock SMBus for exclusive use "Dram [0:5b]" 2020-04-16T11:39:22 W cue.llaccess.server: Failed to lock SMBus controller: 0 2020-04-16T11:39:22 W cue.llaccess.server: Failed to lock SMBus for exclusive use "Dram [0:59]" 2020-04-16T11:39:26 W cue.llaccess.server: Failed to lock SMBus controller: 0 Any suggestions on how to correct this? I have more RAM coming in today to bump up my system to 32GB, but I just want it all working correctly. Thank you
TuningIsLife
Figured it out. edit: Just kidding, this isn't Stack Overflow. I believe that the problem extended from the Intel Management Engine. I uninstalled that and RAM showed back up in iCUE after a reboot.
