Mannenispannen
Hello! I got my headphones (Corsair Vengeance 2000) this morning. Been charging them for 12 hours straight now and still the pulsating Amber. Is this normal, in the manual It says up to 4 hours first charge. Im dying to try them out, please help me! Toasted
It shouldn't take 12+ hours to charge. Did you use a USB port at the back of the motherboard? Does the headset turn on when you disconnect the USB charging cable?
Mannenispannen
I used a front usbport. When I press the on button on the headphones it blinks amber twice and then no light but works fine. After more than 20 hours of charging (still pulsating amber) I plugged in the dongle and It automatically installed drivers etc. The headphones work fine. But now my question is, should I return the headset for a new one (to avoid warrantyissues) or just give It a cpl of weeks to load and It might just turn green one day? :p:
Administrators Technobeard Posted December 2, 2012 Administrators Share Posted December 2, 2012 Unplug it, let it run out of juice, then fully charge it on a back USB port.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted December 3, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 3, 2012 Do you have a cellphone charger that uses a micro-USB jack? I would see if that will charge it up as your USB port may not be sufficient enough to do so (headset requires 500ma).

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted December 5, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 5, 2012 Exchange it with your retailer. If they won't take it back, fill out a RMA request and Ill take care of it for you.

Now I cannot access the vengeance equalizer. It says "please connect the Corsair Vengeance wireless USB adapter". Ive tried all my usbports same message. Now what...?? Toasted
Reinstall the software and see if that solves the issue. Is the dongle detected in Device Manager? Try a different USB port for the extension cable.
