Lumpus
Recently bought the HS70 from the Refurb shop here. I like it overall, but it doesn't seem to have much battery life. If I use them with the charging cord connected I don't have any problems, but unplugged I'll start getting regular 'Auto-Shutdown Initiated' vocal messages after just an hour or two of use. The headset won't actually power off... but it will just repeat this warning about every ten minutes until I plug the charging cable back in. Is this normal? Do I need to RMA this headset?? /installed latest iCUE software - no difference. //microphone unplugged/not used... if this makes any difference Edited August 15, 2020 by Lumpus
WedgevGolden
I have the same headset as you and my headset is now wired because it doesn't work if it isn't plugged in. Ive had it for more than a year but I'm still disappointed that it not lasting.
Lumpus
I changed the config settings in iCUE to disable warnings, but it is a concern that battery remaining shows at @ 30% after an hour of use (after being fully charged up overnight). My old headset was the HS50 and I really liked it, but the cable got annoying after awhile. Also the cheap plastic side connectors used to constantly break and I didn't want to go through that hassle again.
