Gasman
I just purchased the Corsair HS1NA USB headset. I currently use a sound card and since this headset is USB and has a built-in sound card I'm wondering if I could just unplug my current sound card once I plug the new headset into he USB port? Once I plug those in I'm not going to have anything plugged into the sound card anyway. I'm NOT going to be plugging speakers into it and I wear hearing aids due to hearing loss and I only use a headset while using the pc so it seems like I could just unplug the card and save some resources???? SyncError
Yes, the HS1 USB version requires no other sound device to work as the mixer is built in. So you could use it on a computer with no audio hardware :)
Gasman
That's great:biggrin:! I should be able to uninstall my current sound card and get rid of a bunch of running processes. I believe my current sound card is from the same people that did the sound for the new headset. I'll just take it out of my pc and put it into my wife's pc since her's is running onboard atm. THX!!!
