Question Sabre Optical- mouse pointer teleporting?

Important: I have a steelseries Dex Mousepad.

when I move the mouse at a specific angle relative to the mousepad, it teleports all over the place. I don't know which is at faulty, because when i plug in my other, cheaper laser mouse this doesn't happen, and when I use my Sabre on a cheap foam mousepad it also doesn't happen.

I learned to live with this and assumed it was a hardware error and is just part of using an optical mouse, and handled it by making my mousepad be 45 degrees slanted relative to my desk, and it had been fine.

this morning though, my mouse started acting up- it was ridiculously sensitive, about 2X as much- the DPI however was still at it's normal, and it wasn't skipping pixels, it was just really, really sensitive. I also noticed that the teleportation error was gone, so I moved the mousepad back to how it should be. then, tonight when I got home, the mouse sensitivity was back to normal, and the teleportation was back.

I've tried everything, increasing lift-off distance even, and it still teleports whenever I move it at a specific angle relative to the mousepad.

If it works with a cheaper mousepad, then it might just be your mousepad, although it should work on a surface like your current mousepad. If you really want it to work, try reinstalling all drivers and software, and try again. If not, contact Corsair support and see if they can help you.
