Default Corsair H80, no control of fans

Hey all.

I'm having a slight problem with my H80. Everything is installed as should be, fans start up loud and then spin down as normal. But the button for the fan speeds does nothing.

The thing is all 3 lights stay on and the little guy light is on, no matter what i do they don't change. System still seems to be cooling ok but this is just bugging me.

I have tried to reset it and nothing happens on that either.

Thanks in advance for your help
:)

Have you tried replugging the molex connector?

Try this

Quote:
Shutdown the computer.
Hold the fan control button, while holding it turns on the computer.
The L.E.Ds should start blinking, once it stops, turn off the computer.
Power the computer and see if the fans change speed.

Yeah i have tried replugging the molex connector, Also tried what you suggested and i still have the same problem.

When i first turn the pc on all the lights go round and then they all light up and cant get them to change at all.

Like i say even the little guy light is on all the time. Running out of idea's to try now lol

Tried resetting it, tried 1 fan in either port, left the fans off and plugged them into the mb headers and still cant change it :(

Thanks again

If you have recently purchased the H80, Contact your seller and ask if they an replace it for you. If not, request an RMA to replace the H80.
