just put together my first gaming pc built today and all seems great but my case fans that are rgb are not lighting up at all but all else works. why when i power on the case the fans run but the lights dont work? any suggestions i have a b450 tomahawk motherboard

The fans have separate connectors for RGB that should be plugged in to the Lighting Node Core that came with the case.
From there, the LNC needs to be connected to the motherboard USB for control and SATA for power. Then you need to install iCUE and configure the channel. Have you done all of this?
