Default 175R RGB fan lights with no RGB MBU or hubs
Hi,

I’m building a budget gaming PC and using an old Z270 MBU which has no RGB headers on it. I don’t have the budget to buy Corsair fan hubs, lighting node pro or commander. What are my options for at least getting the included SP120 to illuminate (white light is fine)?

your kinda stuffed without an motherboard RGB header with this case buddy :(.. would need some sort of aftermarket controller. and either way that fan cant be used with a commander pro or lighting node pro as its a 12v rgb fan designed for use with motherboard headers..

Thanks for the reply. So, I can’t say provide the fan with 12v and connect one of the R, G or B wires to ground to get that colour illuminated?
