k95 rgb Profile type lighting multiple keys effect dims keyboard after firmware v1.20 update

Hi,

 

I've setup a ripple effect on my profiles.

after the firmware v1.20 update, I've noticed that while the ripple effect is running/active, the rest of the keyboard is being dimmed by 60%.

 

Editor settings:

type - ripple

tail - 4.0

velocity - 10

duration - 0.5

brightness - 10

 

This now happens on all profiles, all modes.

I'd imagine it's something related to the 16.8 million colours (big thanks for that!), but i guess there's 16.8 million potential bugs to sift through :)

 

1. All software / drivers are updated.

2. I've tried both USB 2.0 and USB3.0 connection methods (although I only

have USB3.0 ports on my motherboard).

3. I've restarted multiple times in between various tests.

 

Any ideas?

further testing finds that it only happens while "16.8 million colours" are enabled...so I've disabled that until a new update comes out.

Ya the 16.8 million colours option really screws up some profiles, a good example of this that many people might have is Schwitz's Thunderstorm 2 profile. Without 16.8 mil colours it's fine but the second you enable it the whole background screws up, in this case it seems to white wash everything.
