hexstatic
So my old Enermax 1250W psu has finally died after many years, so i bought a new upgrade with the Corsair AX1200i, however when i installed the PSU and pressed the power on button the PSU made a click sound from within the PSU. I have removed the new PSU from the PC and disconnected all the cables apart from its own mains power cable. I then press the "Self Test" button on the PSU but the LED does not light up and again the PSU makes a clicking sound. This is so annoying. I paid almost $400 for this PSU to find it dead on arrival??? Does anyone have any suggestions? The shop i bought it from doesnt have any more in stock so ill be another 6 days without a PC if I cant get this Corsair PSU to work.... Help please? :(
Corsair Employee jonnyguru Posted August 19, 2015 Corsair Employee Share Posted August 19, 2015 If the self test doesn't work, then the PSU is DOA. If the store you bought it from doesn't have replacements, you can do the RMA through Corsair.
