Hey guys,

As the title says, i've been getting BSOD and games been crashing randomly without any error messages (even chrome tabs are crashing, aww snap!)

I've used to have one 8gb 2400mhz corsair ram, and i just added another one.

One's ver 5.38 and the others 5.39 and they have different timings.

Is there any way i can get them to sync up? I'm clearly a noob at this, so if there is any solution please help!

TIA,

Bakko

You can't use XMP. You will have to manually set the the primary timings and voltage. Your best bet is to use the XMP values for the lower binned kit for both.

Unfortunately, this is what happens sometimes when you mix different kits together. You may want to look at prices for a 2x8 matched kit and see how that compares to what you paid for the single. RAM problems are really annoying, have the potential to corrupt the OS on each crash, and having to live with the threat of this over a long period is usually not worth the saving $40 or whatever the difference might be. That is something you will have to decide. If you are crashing at 2133 default settings now, then I would abandon this and move to a matched kit. That would suggest you have very little margin for success.
