DWaldrop Posted October 9, 2012 Share Posted October 9, 2012 Once I open the package, my SSD is non-returnable. (Fry's policy.) Went online expecting to find installation instructions. No luck. My situation: Single hard disc is dead. Replacing with Force GT F240 (for OS, etc) and 2TB normal disc. Dell Studio XPS 9000. Questions unanswered: 1. Is there a checklist of steps to perform? 2. Are there dip switches with required settings? 3. How to determine is F GT F240 has current software. If not, at what step do I do the upgrade?
