Default Advanced RMA For PSU ?

So my RM1000i has started to develop coil whine, Only started 1 month ago and I've noticed it is slowly starting to get louder so I've started an RMA process as I don't want my new CPU and GPU going POP.

But I was wondering if advanced RMA is still an option ? I remember doing one ages ago where I got a replacement item sent out to me but also paid for it, I sent back the faulty item and then got a refund.

whine can be due to problems with an old power bar as well as with noise filters

I have it plugged into a high quality UPS, I've also tried plugging it directly into a main socket in several different rooms to test, Same outcome, It's the PSU itself.
