Question Corsair HS1 - tore out the headset cable from volume unit

Hey

So I have a beloved Corsair HS1 USB headset, slightly over 1 year old, and a few weeks ago I managed to get the volume unit stuck in my sofa, so when I got up I tore the cable straight out of the volume unit box thing. It's the cable that goes from the volume unit to the headset itself.

I've opened the volume unit case, and can see 5 points corresponding to the 5 tiny wires from the cable. The points are marked, as far as I can see: M-, M+, LO, GND, RO. The wires are colored red, white, blue and two in a natural copper color.

Now, I assume, since this was a silly mistake/accident on my part, this is not something Corsair support will accept an RMA on. I've contacted a local electronics store, and they say they can fix it for a sensible price if I can find out which wires go where. (If they have to test the price would be non-sensible).

So, does anyone have any ideas? Or can Corsair help out with some schematics or wiring hints? :)

Cheers!

Go ahead and fill out an RMA request. Lets see what RMA says about your claim before we go down the route and seeing about the cables.

Oh, excellent. I didn't really think that was viable, but I've submitted one now. <3 Corsair :)
