Default Corsair Vengeance 1500 - Microphone Suddenly stopped working

Hello,

I have had this Headset for just over a month and has been working fine. Booted up the computer today and, whilst the speaker are fine, the microphone refuses to work and , whenever i enter a program that requires a microphone e.g. ventrilo, teamspeak etc, the microphone gives off a high pitched squeal that isn't too loud but it does get on your nerves after a few minutes. When i go into the sound options and into the microphone tab, the corsair microphone is on 1 bar and doesn't move when spoken into or i rub my finger across the microphone, also accompanied with the high pitched squeal.

Have tried on a laptop and getting the same issues.

Have we got any solution to this?

Thanks

RAM Guy, Can you help me at all? The 30 day scheme offered by Amazon isn't valid anymore. Should i submit a RMA?

Sounds like your microphone is no longer working. Use the link on the left hand side of the page for an RMA.
