SH4MZA
I have a K65 RGB and there has been an isue have been having with it for a while. I can go to the Corsair program to edit my LEDs and such however if I do certain things such as open Steam the animation stop and the LEDs stay the same colors until I go behind mt PC, unplug the USBs, then plug them back in. I tried to update my firmware, however it is hard to tell if the firmware update actually worked. I believe i have it up to date but not sure. This is a very big problem on a keyboard like this because what is advertised doesn't work. I am very unhappy with support by corsair and am never responded to. Can anyone help? RetrogamerX
Freezing LED is a known issue. Mine does it too. Just have to wait for a fix? whenever that may be???
ukjosh123
Use the one usb in the usb 3.0 instead of the 2 usb's in 2.0 thats how i fixed mine
Yakov
Instead of waering out your USB plug, just simply flip the switch on the keyboard to bios mode wait a few seconds then switch it back to your normal polling rate
Thellory
I've narrowed my freezing lights issue to being a conflict with Steam.

Thellory
Yeah I have been doing that. Steam is still an issue.. I load up CUE after Steam is booted now and that seems to prevent it usually. However, launching pretty much any Steam game will lock up the lights.
ukjosh123
You used the one usb 3.0 slot instead of the two 2.0 usb's? If that doesnt work i dont know mine works fine after using usb 3.0.
Thellory
Unfortunately :( hopefully there's a fix out soon because I love this keyboard.
saviger
I was able to resolve this issue, by updating both the keyboards firmware and the Corsair Utility Engine to the newest version found here: http://downloads.corsair.com/download?item=Files/Gaming-Keyboards/Corsair-Utility-Engine-v1.3.91.zip EDIT: Should also say, using 1 USB 3 port instead of the x2USB 2. I was getting the lockup about half as much before I updated the software.
Jayovision
Is this on the list of things that need to be fixed ASAP? Because it should be... :[pouts:
Thellory
When I want lighting effects, I'll close steam and open CUE.. when I need steam I'll close CUE and use a non-moving profile and open steam. No issues with the software when steam isn't running.
