mooingpanda
Hello this is my first pc build. I am going with mostly icue capabile corsair products. The motherboard i picked is Asus ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO (WI-FI) ATX LGA1200 Motherboard. I am worried that since the motherboard doesnt have icue technology, my Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory wont be able to be controlled by icue. My question is, do you need a compatible motherboard for all your components to function off icue, or is it a program that no matter what motherboard i use will detect my vengeance memory and ll20 fans? Corsair Employee Corsair CJ Posted September 18, 2020 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 18, 2020 All you should need to do is install the iCUE software to control your memory. Recent versions of iCUE have also included the ability to control ASUS motherboard lighting zones (you'll need both AURA and iCUE software installed to do this).
