Default How to use letters as keyboard arrow when holding G key?

Hi all,

I want to be able to use the keys J K L I as arrow keys when I hold down the G4 key on my K95 platinum. It will make it easier whilst coding.

G4 + J would be left arrow
G4 + L would be right arrow
G4 + I would be up arrow
G4 + K would be down arrow.

Is it possible to do that on this keyboard? If so, could someone kindly tell me how? Obviously I need the J K L I keys to function as normal when not holding the G key.

Cheers

Hello mintjberry,

It isn't possible to have modifier keys as macros at this time.

Have you considered creating a separate profile that you can toggle between to provide additional macro keys when you're doing certain editing tasks? Your profile switching key for each profile could be G4. You could also have j,k,l,i set up as arrow keys on the other profile as well and toggle back to the other profile when not using that.
