alright so the build im working on is a 3960x thread ripper build with the mobo being a asus zenith II extreme alpha board, and 64gb of G.Skilll royal RAM which will be in sticks of 8 for quad channel. cpu cooler will be a NZXT kraken z73 (may swap the fans on it to corsair ql or ll fans. the case will be the corsair 1000D. since the case can support well over 10+ fans i want to run 10 ql LED fans on the case directly (8 120mm on front and 2 120mm on back) and may be separately 6 more due to swapping the fans on the cooler and run them in push pull set up through the rad of the cooler.

for me to do this on the case portion what would i need from corsair besides the ql fans themselves would i need to run 10 fans on the 1000D? like what controllers and how many and do any of it daisy chains and connects to each other and syncs and do i use icue or asus aura for the light?

also separately for the 6 fans on the cooler what would i need for that to be done?

So ... the case comes with a Commander Pro. You can use the 2 channels on that for up to 12 QL fans (6 on each channel). You'll need RGB Fan LED Hubs though; the QL fans come with a Lighting Node Core.

For more than 12 Fans, you can use the LNC connected to the USB on the Commander Pro.

The fans would likely be connected to the cooler but I cannot comment on how much current the cooler's controller would support - you'd have to ask NZXT if it would support splitters on the cooler. That would be ideal (you'd want the fans controlled from the cooler).

I will tell you that you are in for some challenges with configuration. You'll need NZXT CAM, Corsair iCUE and Asus Aura. iCUE would control the RGB on the motherboard but not the RAM; you'd have to control that via Aura.
