it keeps finding new devices, and the ones it found previously will show 0 as rpm or temp. The new devices are on the left with the correct readings. It's a bit annoying having to rename all the icons every time.

@Darkwing
Delete your current profile and create a new one and save it. Does it still do the same?

Add this to the list... Ax1200I fan doesn't respond to the "quiet" curve preset, looks like it depends on the internal sensor since I have had it at 48c and never followed the fan curve. At that temp the fan should be at about 50%.

Should i always install latest firmware for my H100i unit?

I installed Link, but, i don't think i flashed firmware.

Should that be done all the time? Thanks

i just very recently bought a h100i and ax860i and installed a week ago. first corsair link products ever installed in my system. i had read AI suite II may be incompatible so i uninstalled that before i installed corsair link. it was largely just to reign in the cpu fan anyway

i'm getting the issue with extended run time for corsair link chewing cpu time
my pc has been on for about 8 hours right now and corsair link hardware monitor randomly spikes to about 4% cpu every second or so. other times i've checked i've seen values upto 12%.

that much wouldn't concern me but in game performance when hardware monitor starts doing that becomes impractical to the point of restarting the system to play games again. the system feels like it's suffering bad latency. inputs get forgotten, movement becomes jerky, sound starts crackling and popping.

I used to see this quiet curve item in the older versions now all I get for the AX1200i is Default (Which does nothing) and Fixed. No more quiet or performance, etc. Also my PSU fan never runs except on start up for a second. Got up to 55c yesterday for PSU in CL SW but no fan. I also had heavy load on unit. Still no fan. Had to put it on fixed. In previous version it did not respond to quiet either. From what I could see it did nothing as well. Did not follow the curve.

Ok where to start.....

-high CPU load....up to 20% (I-7 3820)
-fans get stuck on wrong speed
-won't display second GPU temp unless GPU-z is running (HD 7970)
-fan speed icon for second GPU blotted out with bright orange
-on boot up it sometimes won't display CPU temp
-LED's don't show proper colours when set to temp, get stuck when cycling
-on boot up it sometimes adds random temp zones and fan icons

Wonder why they released this product before it was ready. Hardware likely to fail before they fix the software bugs.

there are many reasons for these blips other than the corsair units
when it works for one user and not another, the problem is usually at home.

Smile H100i problems with Windows 8.

I just thought I would add that I had considerable problem with the link software in as much as the H100i fans were not showing up on the consul along with the led display and were consequently not adjustable. The driver update was the 2.3 4816 and I was informed that others are experiencing a similar problem with Windows 8. The fans themselves work fine but you just could see them or adjust them. I tried taking of and refitting the mini usb connector and on occasions the fans would show up, but some time later would disappear. I got Chillblast to fix it in the end as I wanted to keep this sealed water cooling unit as it is reputedly, according to several sources including Overclock 3D net, one of the best available, especially for keeping temperatures down on maximum settings when overclocking. The usb in the bios was raised but not sure how and a firmware update found, which I couldn't do.

We will have a newer version that I suspect will take care of this but to be sure we are on the same page can you post a screen shot of the devices tab under options please? And please expand the Corsair options.

Default Corsair Link ends up in Windows Task bar at startup

A minor issue but a bit annoying, when you configure Corsair Link to start automatically with Windows and minimized after logging in Corsair Link indeed starts automatically and minimized but for some reason ends up visible in the Windows task bar. If you then click it in the task bar it will be restored and when you then minimize it manually it ends up only in the system tray bar which is much preferrable if you want it running all the time.

Would be great if you could fix so it will only be visible in the system tray bar from start without you having to manually restore/minimize it for this to happen.

Default I'm always asked to save the profile when exiting

As the topic suggests I'm always asked when exiting the Corsair Link software if I would like to save my profile although nothing has changed. Normally you would only get this question after changing something in your profile.

Yes it is a BUG that will be resolved in a future version. But for now the software does not know if you made changes or not so it will always ask you.
