Speicher ist defekt

Guten Tag.

Good day.

Unfortunately I cannot English, therefore I write on German and translate down with “http://www.google.com/language_tools"

My memory is defect. With “memtest86” over 100 errors and at 9 hours test.

The second RAM is thinks I ok. With “memtest86” only 1 error and at 12 hours test.

If I the possibility would have I however nevertheless the two to dispatch and to it check both for errors. My computer falls after long plays or processes. Also Browser and other applications such as ICQ fall.

I bought both memory on the same day before approximately 2 years. Now I would like to actually sell my computer and buy new (even had selected the memory: 2048MB DDR2 Corsair VALUE kit CL 5, PC5400/667;): ). But unfortunately I cannot sell my current computer, since the memory is defective.

Sorry RAM GUY or other people, but my English is very badly. I can speak German and Russian.

Dear Corsair Support team,

I'm sorry to bother you with my inquiry but I have a problem with my

memory kit I bought bought around 2 years ago. The memory is passing a

lot of errors and this is why I would like to take use of the warranty.

Unfortunately I can not find the invoice for the memory kit. Is it possible

to request direct RMA support with the item and serial number?

Best regards, Vadim

Hallo!

I becoming this Mail:

... Please make sure that you have the latest bios for your MB and then load

optimized defaults and set the timings to "BY SPD" or "AUTO" and then test the

modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org! Please allow memtest to run 2-3

passes on each module. If you still get errors, we will be happy to replace

them or it! However, if you get errors with both modules that would suggest some

other problem and I would test them in another system or MB to be sure. ...

whats next?

Thanks.
