Even when the computer is **** down it's just shining strong blue. Can you guys fix this in a future driver update? I have to unplug the USB for the lights to die out.

It would be cool to even have an option in the headset software that toggles the LED lights ON/OFF like on the M60 mouse. Thanks for taking this into account.

If the computer is shut down, then it cannot possibly be a driver issue. The OS is not running so there is no driver loaded.

What this means your USB ports are powered even when the system is off. Consult your MOBO maker for advice/support with this.

Do you hibernate/sleep?

Nope. Even when I shut down and try flicking the PSU switch off the LED is still going. I have to flick the power switch to the wall or unplug the cable for the LEDs to die out. That or unplug the USB, both are annoying options.

But I will contact Gigabyte about it and get back to you guys about my findings.

o/p has a x58a-ud5 , if its same as my x58-ud7 then one of the usb headers supplies power even when the machine is off for charging ipads etc ( useful feature which i use ) , if thats the case then try using a different usb port as its only 1 of the headers on the board , the rest are " normal " .
