ztjuh
I have a Corsair H70 AIO cooler, which I don't use anymore. My father just bought a new AMD Ryzen 3 1200, and I would like to cool it with it, so I ordered the following AMD retention bracket kit from a Dutch computer store, BUT, there is no backplate with it, so how would I actually mount this without a backplate? Why even sell it without the backplate? http://www.corsair.com/en-us/am4-amd-retention-bracket-kit-for-hydro-series-coolers Or either I send the retention kit back, get my money back and let the H70 dust away, or sell the H70 with the Intel and AMD brackets I have, or try to make a backplate myself (which I will definitely fail at), or is there a other way to get a backplate which I don't know of? ztjuh
Oh I think I figured it out, you don't need the backplate anymore, just use the default mounting point from the motherboard, I will post back later if it fits!
ztjuh
Totally fits, just use the backplate that comes with the motherboard! :D
