Ridiculously SLOW WiFi - Help!

Hi, I’m suffering with a WiFi connection on my i160 so slow, it’s painful.

I’m getting around 2mbs download speeds and the web pages take ages to navigate. It’s absolutely abysmal.

 

I confess I’m no expert, any ideas what’s the best way to about getting this fixed please?

I must point out, that all of my other devices are working perfectly. TV, phone and tablet.

I’ve fixed it. As simple as uninstalling and reinstalling the WiFi driver.

I tell a lie, this morning I thought reinstalling the driver had fixed it. But upon using the internet again this afternoon, it’s back to be very, very slow. Can barely even load a webpage and I’ve tried updating the driver also, no joy.

So that’s me completely clueless now... any ideas what I can try next?

Have you tried adjusting the antennae on the back? Are they tightly screwed in?

 

I've also found, on this and other machines running Windows 10, that it often helps to turn WIFI off for a few seconds and then back on in the settings menu. Just go to Settings on the bottom right of the task bar, click Network, and then click WIFI to turn it off for a few seconds, then click again to turn it back on. That's solved slow WIFI for me in the past.

Hey Queeg, thanks very much for the tip. That does actually help a lot just turning the WiFi on and off for ten seconds. Bit strange should even have to do that, but it’s done the trick.
