Default Issue with Vengeance 2000

Hi everyone.

Just got my awesome headset today and it's really nice. However I'm having a terrible issue and I've been lurking this forum for an hour by now.

So I fully charged my headset until it was amber green. Installed drivers and everything as instructed by the quick guide. I have my headset set as "default" in the control panel. However my dongle is blinking and my headset WON'T turn on. I press the button for 1-2 sec and it starts to blink to quickly die after 2 seconds. If I hold the button in, it just blinks and then dies.

I've done the following solutions

- Make the battery go empty and then recharge
- Set it as default audio device in controlpanel
- "Pair" them together by trying to reset my dongle and then hold in the start button on headset.
- Restarted my computer
- Tried 6 diffrent USB ports. 4x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0

I have no clue what to do right now. Would appreciate if I could get some help. I bought it during a sale here in sweden. It's a expensive headset and I want this to work! :<

Bought it on dustinhome . se

EDIT: I'm watching the headset now and the blue LED lamp is switching from blue to dead in an "unpaced" rythm. But it's blinking atleast 1 time every 3 sec. My DONGLE is BLUE. Not blinking. The dongle LED lamp is on and my headset it just blinking wierdly

Re-pair the headset to the dongle.

How do I pair the Vengeance 2000 with the wireless USB receiver?

Under normal circumstances, you will never need to manually "pair" the Vengeance 2000 with the included wireless USB adapter ("dongle"). However, if the status indicator on the dongle does not stop blinking, you can try pairing the dongle and the headset.

Here's how to do it:

Turn the headset off by pressing the power button until the blue indicator light below the power button goes out.
Insert the wireless adapter into your PC's USB port.
With the end of an unfolded paper clip, press the recessed pairing button on the wireless adapter.
After about ten seconds, the indicator light on the wireless adapter will blink rapidly.
Press and hold the power button on the headset for about ten seconds, until the headset indicator light blinks rapidly.
The light on the wireless adapter will go solid blue, and the light on the headset will flash slowly (about two seconds between each flash)
The headset and wireless USB adapter are now paired.

The blue LED on the headset should flash for a brief moment when you first turn it on. If the dongle LED is a solid blue, it means the headset is paired to it and on. Are you not getting any sound from the unit?

Have you tried the pairing method?
Is the Dongle plugged into a USB 2.0 port?

Try pair the device on another computer.

If it doesn't pair the dongle might be faulty.

Did the dongle and headset ever blink rapidly when you tried pairing it?

If it did and it still doesn't work, the dongle is probably faulty. Request an RMA to replace it.
