user56551 Posted May 18, 2020 Share Posted May 18, 2020 Hi Everyone, I have (4) pieces of 8 GB CORSAIR Vengeance LPX DDR4 memory totaling 32 GB for Asus PRIME X370-PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard with Ryzen 1800X CPU. Unfortunately, two of the memories are version 5.30 and the other two version 3.31. What DIMM slot order should I install? Any ideas? Here the spec: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX DDR4 CMK16GX4M2A2133C13 2133MHz 13-15-15-28 1.20V Here are the version number and serial#. Everything’s identical except for the version numbers because I bought them at different times. VER 5.30 172900968220248 VER 5.30 172900968220247 VER 3.31 192402924257193 VER 3.31 192402924257195 The truth is I actually had made the system work for about year with all 4 pieces—it’s just now I forgot the installation procedure or set-up—and I had no idea of the complications involved; I suppose I was lucky the first time. However, I had to recently re-assemble my system after returned the motherboard from Asus via RMA for no post after I updated the BIOS. And even now I did and can make it post with (2) pieces of ram but I want to set-it up with (4) pieces. Please comment if any ideas. Thank you very much!
