Problem with H150i install

Hello. This is my first time setting up watercooling and problems begin when i was trying to install backplate for H150i pro watercooling system. Plate fits fine but those bolt holes on the plate, goes too far to other side of the motherboard and i think those wholes should be at same level with the motherboard or are im missing something ?

It is designed like from what I was told and I have same cooler and works fine for me and snugs up good, I think if they were flush might cause more strain on motherboard but that my opinion.
