Corsair 1000D with 21 fans. Help!

Recommended Posts

So I'm upgrading my current build and I figured I'd start with the outside (case) and cooling.

I bought a Corsair 1000D, 16x Noctua NF-A12x25 fans, 2x 480mm radiators for the front. I will be transfering the 360mm AIO CPU cooling solution from my old PC to the new one, and I will be installing 2 120mm fans on the back for exhaust.

I was about to connect all 16X fans to the commander pro included, but... I'm gonna need to buy another one won't I? At least 2 more? How will I be able to connect all 3 of them and manage it via icue software? I'm not new to water cooling by any means, but I am new to something this massive. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Oh, and I have a EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 power supply. Will it be enough?

to also add.. no more than 9 fans in total and no more than 2 fans to a header on the Commander Pro,, and this is not supported by Corsair... all at your own risk.. technically is a 6 fan controller for 6 fans with 6 fan control in its software and anything more than that is outside of 'spec'
