Seems like messing around with the Eqaulizer settings in the control panel has very very little impact, is this a driver issue or something? the old driver I had changed the sound massively :<

Corsair Vengeance 2100.

Is there an ETA for a driver release that includes mic boost or increases its input level?

How can Corsair ignore all these threads about the hissing issue? Volume control and mic problem. Are you kidding me?!
I Paid good money for this, i demand at least that they acknowledge the problems...!

Seems like the Vengeance Headset Driver v2.0.26 is removed from the web page for the Vengeance 2000.

It's there, and it's also on the download page.

For some reason when I try install the driver, it totally locks my pc. Only happens with corsair drivers it seems...

Any way to know which part is causing the problem?

Working with a 1500.

Running "CorsairHeadsetSetup_Release_2.0.26.msi" locks my system up solid.

Windows 8.1 64 Bit.

Vengeance 2100.

I have K95 and M95 both installed with the configuration panel working fine.

Have you tried disconnecting the headset during the install process?
Have you tried installing the drivers under an admin account?
Have you tried turning off smartscreen and your anti-virus program?

Has something changed with the control panel?

I use to have a V2000 but I sent it back to Amazon and ordered 2100 and downloaded these drivers, now when I put 30 and 60 up to the top the bass doesnt sound as heavy/distorted as it use too.

Whats up? I liked it more before ):

Yes for all three. It still behaves the same. It locks the system up solid.

Thanks for responding.

just make suree under programs and features that you do not have the dolby drivers installed. when I switched from the 2000 to the 2100 I had the low volume problem(and mic) where the slider was up all the way and had low sound. so I uninstalled the dolby drivers(which are for the 2000 headset) and wallah.....now the volume/mic is perfect,

food for thought...

Thumbs down

There are several serious regressions in these drivers 2.0.26 (tested with Vengeance 1500):
  • The microphohone feedback has been removed: the hardware isn't usable in this state, with everything going into the mic going out our ears
  • The microphone mute button is now blinking red&blue instead of a steady red. It's a waste of power, and extremely annoying
  • There's a small but permanent hissing every time the microphone is used (even if nothing is said, just opening the Windows Record Sound panel is enough to get the sound).
  • There is no explanations whatsoever as to what the big on/off button is (in the top left corner).

Could we get, like now, confirmation these issues are being worked on right now?
