Default volume wheel error

I just brought the k70 today and i have to say im falling in love with it. The only issue I have is that I cant use the volume wheel to turn down the sound. It scrolls up just fine and dadny but when I scroll down the volume level just bounces up and down staying at the same level. Is this a faulty keyboard or is there something I am missing?

Any help is appreciated
Cheers

Only I'll bite :-) Could be a bad wheel mechanism. Could also be something else that is interfering I had something like that happen once to me. But I'm just spit ball'en here.

Same thing used to happen with my previous keyboard with a similar volume wheel mechanism, the volume would go down then back up no matter how many times I would spin the wheel down, seems like it might just be a bad volume wheel mech like piiman said. If you have another computer around or something, try plugging it in and seeing if the problem persists
