I bought 2 2x8gb kits from Newegg (CMW16BX4M2D3000C16)
They look beautiful. However, "dim 1" which is in slot 3 from the CPU socket seems to have a dead LED in at the very "bottom" of the stick. Ill attach a photo. Is ive tried to reseat the ram and it's seated all the way in. Is it even worth trying to replace the stick as Ill most likely have to replace both sticks from the kit? The issue isn't all that obvious on some lighting options. Thanks in advance |

Hard to say if it's "dead" or just a little "dim".
Try using the "Multicolor" effect and setting just that one to a specific color. Does it work?

Yep, doesn't light at all.
The light from LED 9 bleeds into the area for led 10. For example, if I have it alternating between red and blue, if 9 is red and 10 is blue, on this single ram stick the light from the 9th led slowly fades down into the 10th spot. |

Looks like a dead LED to me... you'll need to start a ticket at corsair.com/support.
