belezeebub
I wasn't planning on changing my case but I found out today that the Motherboard I want is XL-ATX Form Factor; 32.5cm x 27.5cm Before I plop down for a 1000d can anyone tell me if it supports this new form factor I can find very few cases listing XL-ATX, I tried contact Thermaltake because I currently have "The Tower 900" but as normal for Thermaltake I get most answers asking any blank wall. Corsair Employee Corsair Brice Posted November 21, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted November 21, 2019 Hello, The board will fit in 1000D. you could saw some restriction or limitation depending of the board you'll use : The full XL-ATX (345*262) have extra screw in lower part, they can't be screw on 1000D It could block the possiblity to use the second ITX MB tray. Did you ever do this build? I'm looking at using an XL-ATX TRX40 motherboard, but am concerned about motherboard stability/flex, as well as ITX system spacing. I'm looking at the TRX40 Aorus Extreme.
