Trixxr
Hi guys. Finished my full hydro x loop a couple of weeks ago for my 3950x - and I’m now starting to see some residue in both the reservoir and the cpu block (aka, residue wherever I have visual access). I’m running the Corsair non colored liquid for it - and all of my rads and my block was flushed several times with distilled water. This is still my first build, so I might be missing something - rookie advice are welcome! I’ve not seen the buildup until recently. Attached are 2 images of the residue. Cheers! skyteam78
Hi. My advice is to flush with distilled water asap. You got some reaction. What fittings are you using? Any non brass components? I got same issue with non - Corsair coolant. After changing to Corsair clean, all perfect for a few months now.
Trixxr
I'm using the Corsair Hydro X fittings - both hardline and softline fittings though, as I need softline for the bits of my build that's not finalized. I'll try flushing!
